Is it corruption really, or is it incompetence? Adalaide Byrd, 118-110 The Boxing media, promoters, trainers, and Boxers themselves should come together to petition these State Athletic Commissions to vet-out these sub-standard Judges (and Refs)... It was an easy fight to score. I had GGG winning 8 rounds. Canelo landed some nice shots here and there, but he was never in control and never fought the way he normally fight. GGG should've cut the ring off a bit better and get his shots off more consistently when he had Canelo on the ropes, but overall he controlled the fight and walked Canelo down throughout the whole fight. Doc, what part of Canelo's performance did you not expect, or that you thought he would change for GGG? Canelo looked insanely sharp in the early rounds but I think he admired his work so much that he didn't see the urgency in applying quality work to the body. He had the energy and sharpness to do this but didn't, then Golovkin came out strong in the 4th round and the rest is history. The same first 3 rounds I gave Canelo oddly enough, were the same 3 rounds that cost him the fight in my opinion.

Canelo was the one landing the clean shots still got outlanded and outworked.GGG dictated where the fight took place and at what pace.canelo tried to run to catch his breath but ggg was right there.

GGG stepped up his quality of opponents this year and the difference showed man..He is not this monster ya'll want him to be..GGG did not clearly win sh1t tonight. Oh well... Im not really surprised. Ur not the sharpest knife in the drawer

This wasn't even close and the fans booed Canelo when he was interviewed...and they were almost all Canelo fans. Harold Lederman scored it honestly...he doesn't give a fuck. It wasn't close. Lederman gave 2-3-11 & 12 to Canelo. 8-4 GGG. Gotcha. I would give Canelo the 10th. He came out throwing bombs. Golovkin came on later, but don't think it was enough. The chins on both guys were superb. They both took some good shots.

That's a waste a time, real change would be to have officials re watch a fight on tape to over turn these robberies And that would be part of the vetting process -- WTF you talking about 'waste of time'?!?

iam a fan of both fighters so no bias I think ggg won by 2 points at least , that judge should be banned from the sport .

The result is acceptable but Byrd and her scorecard should be banned from the sport and charged under the rico act. Canelo faded in the middle after looking sharp in the beginning. GGG was dominating in the middle. rounds 4 through 9 and the back half of ten I had it 7 rounds to GGG 5 to Canelo eventhough I was rooting for Canelo. Byrd has been sh1ting on the sport for a looong time. This is the dunce who had Holyfield and Lewis 1 as Holyfield winning.
