I already said that Geale quit twice.
I just find it funny when people say that a man who made a living out of boxing has no balls.
It takes balls to become a pro boxer and to make it your profession.
Just because he had balls doesn't mean he still does. Geale doesn't deserve any title shots until he shows he's willing to battle.
Here are the facts: Because you keep claiming speculations about me, someone who you know nothing about,
100 years from now, when little Jonny smith, who's taking up an interest in boxing, looks up old fights and maybe takes an interest in KO specialists like Golovkin and Cotto, and sees them fight an australian named Geale. He will think oh, that guy Geale is a quitter, no wonder i never heard of him before.
Everything you do in life matters, you can't take back something that already happened. When you quit, that stays with you forever.
People who make speculations based on zero evidence are what you call ignorant.

You don't know me.
I'm talking about Geale, and the consequence of quitting. If that goes over your head that's not my problem. If you condone quitting, good. Quit all you want, that's your life. I don't condone quitting, that's my choice, that's what I do with my life.
I just find it funny that a guy sitting at his computer can say that a man who made his living out of boxing has no balls at all.
Do you comprehend what it takes to make a living out of getting punched in the face?
Yes he has disappointed on the biggest stage by quitting twice, he should be embarrassed by his performance, especially the cotto fight as he looked fine after the 2nd KD.
Who knows, maybe he was paid off so cotto and canelo can have their multi million dollar fight later in the year.
I just doubt that you would have more balls then a man who you claim has none.
We already know how big Geale's balls are. It's written in history already.
When he dies, anytime someone revisits his legacy, he'll be remembered as the guy who quit. For all time.
That's why I never quit.
Yeah because you have had numerous pro fights and fought guys like GGG and cotto or did you mean to say that you never quit when playing ping pong?
Many experts were saying today on the radio that they heard rumors of Cotto paying Geale to take a dive and quit at the first credible chance. I don't know how true the sources are but I believe it.
Jesus H Christ are you really this stupid or are you making up shyte that fits you agenda, AGAIN.
I thought Gaele made a smart decision. His body was clearly weak, he was absorbing punishment and he couldn't do anything to stop Cotto from doing more damage.
He definitely quit. The better question is "Do you think it makes him a coward?"
I say no.
It makes him a coward in the sense that he thought only of his paycheck, and cheated fans for a decent fight.
He quit. Without question.
He got to his feet, looked relatively composed and solid and told the ref he didn't want to continue.
Against Golovkin his legs were gone and he was unsteady so fair enough, but this time he just quit.
I don't think Geale took a dive as such.
But I do believe he could have carried on.
I actually think it is similar to the GGG fight in as much that he knew he was an underdog and was getting paid the same money win / lose.
Geale took no dive -- he was punched hard...
... But he simply quit...
He wasn't at all. It was a tactical affair until Geale quit. Seems like a rigged match for sure, as others hint in this thread.

I dunno about you guys backing him quitting. If you're outclassed then have more heart then your opponent. Every time I get in the ring my mindset is when the fight is ended my arm will be raised or I'll be sleeping. That's how you need to go into a fight, especially a title fight. Anything else is a waste of time.
:lol1: what the fcuk. what fight were you watching? Cotto was beating him from pillar to post.

He did the same thing Ortiz did against Maidana but he didn't get called a coward for it, Ortiz was getting pummled by Maidana and his eyes were beginning to close, he knew he didn't have much left and he didn't wanna take any unnecessary punishment, people forget that boxing is a job to these people, sometimes u have a bad day like everybody else.
Geale did the exact same thing against GGG also, nobody said nothing, americans fighters have it hard.
