Why should the Mayweathers get blamed for any trashtalking he does? This is who Ricky is...a snide shit talker, he just is clever enough to hide it for the most part. Manny is what you call a genuine nice guy. Not Ricky.
Floyd pretty much left yall high to dry and yall are frantically trying to figure out ways to defend him. This is just too good. Self destruction is a wonder to behold. You guys are like the Fox News of fanboys.
Don't you get tired of the same old, same old? Fool.
I like watching Floyd fight btw, and I bet I've seen more of his fights than his own "fans" on this forum who first saw Mayweather on 24/7 while flipping through channels.
Good for you.
Floyd smelled his crotch area and realized it was a pussy.
Cheater or not, Floyd wouldn't wanna touch Margie with a ten-foot pole.
Margarito must have been catching the same whiff around himself round about the same time he signed on to fight Mosely then.
Well (duh) ... yes.
But that doesn't mean jack shit. There's a lack of options in the poll... I don't care if he comes back or not, and that's how I would have voted if I was able to.
I'll still read the thread though.
Well, it's unlikely there would be a 'couldn't give a shite' (so so funny) since it is addressed to his fans.
At the end of the day, its all about who puts more asses in seats, and who generates more ppv buys. Worldwide, Hatton generates more money than Pac. A 50/50 split, with a percentage of UK ppv revenue going to Pac is more than fair. Pac is an ass for letting this fight fall to shit. Although i respect what he's accomplished, he just lost a HUGE fan!QUOTE]
Already??
:lol1:
Mate, I wouldn't have a god damned clue how tall he might be. How about we just say he started at WW then. Just for you eh?
Yeh, let's say that. Just for me.
Prick.
:lol1:
Take it easy fella. Sadly, it is always difficult to know the tone of a speaker over the computer, but that was meant to be said in a friendly fashion.
Rather like how I could have taken the ...
":wtf1:
He's five foot ten isn't he? Yeah, I see him starting at 130."
...as a sarcastic comment from you and could be calling you a prick. :fing02:
It's the internet though. Unless someone calls me a prick outright, like you did, I imagine that most stuff is said in a normal speaking tone and is not personal.
Sorry about that, I admit I took yours in the wrong way. But I didn't mean the WTF in a sarcastic way, I guess it came out wrong. Anyway, I shouldn't have called you a prick, it was OTT.
This is why I wish JMM woulda fought Pac after he beat Hatton, and Mr boat buyer woulda just taken his ass back to WW where he belongs. This stupidass Mr boat buyer-JMM fight is gonna ruin any chance of us gettin Pac-JMM 3. :damnit1:
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
I would still be a fan. But I agree with Arum. Floyd puts way too much stock in his undefeated record. It makes him sound a bit silly when he re-iterates that, because chances are if he carries on fighting he will lose that 0.
Brian Kenny said Pacquiao's win was more exciting than his, he said he ruined Hatton.
Brian Kenny said Pacquiao destroyed Hatton in 2 rounds, Floyd said the fight ended so early because he didn't follow Sr's gameplan.
Seems like two different answers to two different questions to me, but that's just to me.
There you go. Very simple really...
It seems like a two sided war in here since the return of Mayweather, the Floyd side mostly seem to praise him and hate on Manny, the Pac side seems to praise Manny and hate on Floyd. Just wondering if anyone in here is a fan of both of them?
I am a fan of both
Its not just The Ring, you're going to find this in most boxing media. You guys will make it out to be some sort of anti Floyd conspiracy and make Floyd out to be Boxing's biggest victim.
Pacquiao is this generation's best. The funny thing is, he did what Floyd was supposed to do by doing the same thing Floyd did.
No, he's not this generations best. That's BS. And I'm not a Pac hater, I travelled all the way from the UK to see Manny, not Ricky. I'm a fan. But he's not better than Floyd.
You sound so bias, hard to take what you say seriously.
Yeah, I read his reports because I want to glean some sort of information (like the fight is at 143, not 147) not wading through biased BS.
your not missing anything
Hearing Floyds songs OR Hearing a cat hit by a car = both are equally disappointing.
Like others have said, great fighter, but I'll have to give it a miss. I remember the other masterpiece...'gotta a lotta chedda, young mayweather...' :D
From what I've gathered from peeps on here, Kellerman is a fan of Floyd's. So has he gone off him or something? I didn't see it, I can't really guage it properly.

In the end, Boxing doesn't need Mayweather Jr. Boxing never needed Mayweather Jr. It was Mayweather Jr. who needed Boxing.QUOTE]
That bit kills me. I'm guessing that the writer considers that on the stinging side right? LOL.
I have no real problems with Cotto either, in fact I love his style, and to be honest I don't have it within me to dislike him - it's just the way his fans and journalists use his name to take shots at Floyd.
For example, yesterday the headline said that Cotto said the welterweight division is doing fine without Floyd, but he didn't say it quite like that. It made it sound as if he was trying to badmouth him and I didn't see it that way at all, he was just speaking in a matter of fact way like he always does. I can't recall whether either of those two have slagged each other off.
You must have been unlucky. Mine cut out once or twice, but other than that it was fine. There was a repeat last night at 10pm, perhaps you should look out for the rest of the week.
