He doesn't look over confident in the build up. He looks pretty ready to me:

GGG wiling to go up to 168 to fight Chavez Jr >>>>> anything Bummner has done in the ring!
Wait....his "willingness" to fight Chavez Jr, a guy most fans think he could beat, is better than anything Broner has done in his career?
Explain how this makes sense, please.
I'll give him one title defense. He looked painfully average in the fight. Sadly, I think he's signed to Al Haymon so, if Deontay Wilder serves as an example for us, Charles is gonna get a couple light touches before he gets fed to the wolves.
I'm skeptical.
The way Crawford was getting lit up by Gamboa in the early rounds of their fight would have me worried.
Pac is faster and hits harder than Gamboa. However, he has slowed down so maybe this is the right time to fight him.
No. If he would have at least grimaced when throwing a punch or have mentioned it in the corner, it may seem more believable. He sure as hell didn't look injured when he was lungeing and throwing combinations. Just seems like damage control. And that shoulder didn't have him running into counters all night.
He hasn't really beaten any of the top guys in the division, unless we're counting Macklin. Strangely, he keeps getting credit for "beating" opponents he hasn't even fought yet. But oh yeah, "they're all ducking him" so that means he automatically gets a check in the winning column. :nono:
Bradley. He would probably try to keep the fight close and in the trenches since Thurman hasn't demonstrated that he can fight on thr inside. He'd smother to take some of the steam off Thurman's power punches. Plus, he is much shorter than Keith so it would be easier for him to slip right under his punches.
The same way Maidana set up his hook that dropped Broner. Mosley kept jabbing to the body but wasn't following it up with anything. So, in the second round, Floyd goes to parry it and Mosley immediately comes up top with that straight right. That's how you set up a punch. You'd have to watch the first round to see that.
Namely Hopkins, Mayweather, Marquez, GGG and Pacquaio.
No. Should have put Andre Ward.
Fighters who fight at walk-around weight don't have to kill themselves making weight so they can completely devote themselves to working on their craft.
She placed a hex on him....which caused him to tear his calf muscle.....which caused him to fight like an idiot trying to go for a knockout....which lost him the fight. This demands a rematch and pac's mom isn't allowed or Manny automatically gets disqualified....lol.
I see some guys saying that manny must be done if a "pillow fisted" Bradmonster hurt him thats not the case haters and here goes my reason .... have any of you sparred a inexperienced or in my case let my girl beat up on me without the worry of getting hit back they use no footwork only load up on there every shot without that concern about return punishment well that was Brad he had no worries in there and loaded up on his every shot with out using any real foot work almost amatuer like everyone stated after that fight unfortunate for him he was in the ring with the great MannyPacquaio and he returned fire and had brad on queer street the entire 2nd half
edit: Bradley's one of my favorite fighters

As for Manny getting hurt, he got punched. No mystery to it. :boxing:
It's one of those things that happens in a boxing ring.
There's only one explanation: Pacquiao hits so hard that when he lands, it sends a shockwave down to Bradley's legs that destroys his ankles.
Nah, seriously though. I think the awkwardness of Manny's attacks is what throws him off. When he's trying to avoid punches, he has to bend and lean in such weird ways in order to avoid the punches that it ends up throwing him off balance.

Well, its fight day and alot has been said in the buildup to this fight. I think both fighters are 100% prepared and there should be no excuses when its all said and done. Does Pacquiao still got it? Is this Bradleys time? Alot of questions will be answered tonight. May the best man win!
Good luck guys, and have a fun, safe night.
This **** has me HYPED.
I am so ****ing ready for this fight :boxing:
Looks like Shannon Briggs is....taking the "Shannon Briggs Bum o' the Month Club" route to another title shot. He's taken this route several times in his career
Don't fix what ain't broken.

Ducking. A loss isn't so bad so long as a fighter doesn't put so much value into his 0. Anyone can take a loss and bounce back from it. However, if you refuse to fight the top guys for one reason or another, it should be looked down upon. I know there's a lot of pressure that comes from losing because most fans are idiots and disparage any fighter for actually "going for it" but ducking just leaves too many questions unanswered.
Cotto does have a point, even if he came in 2nd. Pac forced him to fight at 145. Big concession.
Forced? He held a gun to Cotto's head and made him sign the contract?
I don't think so. I don't think Pac is confident in his chin yet. The punches that Bradley landed seemed to really bother him. I'm used to Pac getting hit with a big shot, pounding on his chin and coming back even harder. Last night, he was cautious. It's not that bad though, I guess. He's not going to be running face first into punches anymore.
Everyone wants the best to fight the best but it's completely naïve to think that these fighters shouldn't take into account how much they will get paid. They're not all mindless brutes that just want to punch people.
Clottey. He'll be able to handle Kirkland's high work rate. Clottey will get the timing down and start picking him apart in the middle of Kirkland's combinations like he was doing with Margarito until his hand broke.
Did Clottey really broke his hand in that fight?
I believe so. Around round 4, Clottey begins to complain about his hand hurting. He started throwing soft punches with his left and his punch output noticeably dropped. Before that, he was clearly whipping Margarito's ass.
