He fought Mayweather for the glory, you know how boxers USED to be. Yeah the conversion rate is good, but as soon as he leaves US with US dollars he will get taxed out the ass. Look at Canelo and his new pad in i think San Diego. The money he made in Mayweather fight stayed in US.
not to mention he lives in a socialist unstable country teetering on economic collapse
Still throwing out conspiracy theories about Marquez using drugs, I see. The commission did its job. Pacquaio got KTFO. Just accept it and move on!
Conspiracy theories lack evidence. Acne on a man's chest as clear as day is evidence, though at this point it is merely circumstantial evidence when it comes to PED use.
Truth be told, I dont even want to see Floyd fight anyone at all. He should take the year off.
I want those young guys fighting EACH OTHER, not cashing out with Mayweather and being used as pawns.
Garcia needs to improve upon his boxing ability. Thurman needs to fight someone on the level of a Tim Bradley.
Floyd needs to kick rocks or fight Pacquiao.
Why is Nigel Collins spending time writing about this?
It isn't new to boxing.
Internet groupies have been around for years...Roy Jones Jr., Felix Trinidad, et al. have had them.
After Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao there will be others.
agreed...what's his point? should people unite? LOL...this is sports after all.
this doesnt seem worthy of an article. the polarization that matters in the world is political, left vs. right, liberals vs. conservatives, etc etc
sports fans are always going to have rivals. yankees vs. redsox fans, philly vs. new york etc etc
i don't see a problem with it, it just means people care.
ive been saying this man has been shafted with that 1.5 mil against the PPV king.
Guerrero made more than twice that, Rios and Bradley made more than twice that.
Whoever negotiated that purse for Maidana basically bent over and got fcked in the ass by Al Haymon, Ellerbee and Floyd
Pacquiao is religious and pro-life....Manny and Floyd could see eye to eye on this.
i hope Pac reaches out to Floyd and gives him a kind word of support.
its no surprise it would do less than the first fight and it really has less to do with the undercards. if pacquiao was fighting a popular fighter, it would do reasonably well.
to have him fight tim bradley and expect anything around the first fight is foolish.
its simple economics, the law of diminishing returns.
PacMan has a point to prove with JMM .Pac-Brad3 is not going to happen and if it does it will be the last fight on the contract
proving points against 40 year old men?
you gotta be kidding me.
At this stage in his career, he shouldnt be trying to prove anything other than cash out
