I'm not looking forward to Hayes guaranteed comeback and it won't be against Vitali. Haye is petrified of old man Vitali. Regardless of what people think, Haye is scared to take on any sort of challenge. Vitali wouldn't play around with Haye, he would just walk through him
I seriously wish Haye would f*uk off. He gives boxing a bad name. He does however manage to achieve one thing and that's he gets everyone talking about him, but for all the wrong reasons. Go away already!
It annoys me when Haye keeps going on about how much Fury 'talks'. Up until this fight, David Haye did nothing but talk. All he did in the build-up to his fight with Wlad was talk then didn't produce.
The only reason he isn't talking in the build-up to this fight is because Fury is actually a better talker and (dare I say it) has more charisma......I still think Tyson will get knocked out though
I find it funny that people are calling Khan a 'runner'. What the hell are you supposed to do in the ring with a guy like Maidana??
Stand in front of him?? He knocks people out for fun. Ask Victor ortiz about Marcos Maidana!
People need to give Khan the respect he is due! But, i dont expect it because haters are gona hate, regardless!
I think Chisora will put up a good fight for a few rounds and then get demolished!
The thing about the Klitschkos is they are the ulitmate professionals and will always turn-up 100% - mentally and physically!
Chisoras only chance would be if Wlad turned up below his best, I just cant see that happening, ever!!
I get the feeling that Khan is 'caught up' in that victory over Malignaggi. If he is serious about fighting Maidana, then thats fine, keeping talking.
But, if when the dust has settled and he starts having second thoughts or his team don't want it, he's gona look bad. Which will basically give the haters more reason to hate!
If Khan got KO'd by Paulie. There really would be noway back for him!
I don't think Khan can take Paulies power! lol
I still expect Amir to box his head off!
You have to understand where Khan's coming from. Brook has about 35 fights, has fought almost at home all his life, he has fought bums and hasn't built a brand. Khan feels salty because that's like being used to give Brook a payday and undeserved exposure. On the other hand Khan took risks, he left the comforts of home and faced more dangerous fighters. HE has been in championship fights, fought dangerous people like Maidana, Prescott, Garcia, Peters on, Judah, Collazo etc.At that stage in his life Brook wouldn't have got past all of them without getting knocked out. This is personal.
Had Brook been fighting good fighters this match would have been a no brained. TbH all Brook brings is a belt. Khan and Froch have been fighting and taking risks so when they turn down domestic rivals who want to piggyback on their reputations please understand.
At last an objective point of view
Surely doing the drug testing after the fight would fine?
Im not sure about how the whole thing works and if the sample maybe some how effected if taken after the fight. It does seem like Mayweather is stalling abit though
Never been a fan of emanuel steward, I just think he has often been blessed with extremely talented fighters. I don't see him as some great trainer. He didn't do much for naseem hamed and jermain taylor. Infact he actually took them backwards :fu2:
There are precedents for a Cruiserweight "earning his shot" before fighting for the Heavyweight title, notably Holyfield, but there are also many precedents for a dominant champion moving up in weight and fighting for a title immediately, without any tune-ups at all - e.g. Michael Spinks vs. Larry Holmes, or Bob Foster vs. Frazier, or Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton; and I don't see why either strategy is necessarily wrong. Haye is a gambler by nature and always wants to fight the best in the division, and good luck to him, I say, I think that attitude is refreshing. Maybe he'd do better if he had two more fights first, as you say, but most boxing fans would like to see the fight made now, and given his personality, I don't see what's wrong with that. As for the hate posts about his trash talking, it's obvious that's just to hype the fight, and he's doing a good job of hyping it, even if Booth is doing a bad job at the negotiating table.
I just think haye would be better equipped and stand a better chance of beating the klitschkos if he had a few more fights! He hasn't been in with a 'skilled' heavyweight yet.
Maidana isn't worried about Khans skills? Well he should be!
At the same time, Khan should be worried by Maidanas power. Ive got Maidana by first round KO!
When does Frank Warren ever take his fighters to the US? He would have had Khan wrapped in cotton wool for the next 5years fighting bums. Warren would have had every fight on PPV and would have made a killing. Of course he's disapointed, he's probs lost out on alot of money.
Warren done a good job for Khan and brought him along well, but he brought him as far as he could.
Obviously khan is bound to a contract with warren, so I very much doubt if frank warren would let khan out of that contract to fight hatton. Khan/hatton would be a mega-money fight and I can't see warren not wanting in on it.
The only other option would be for khan to buy out the rest of his contract and i'm guessing that wouldn't be cheap!
Mayweather won. Boxing lost.
Unfortunately all the non-boxing fans I have spoken have been left disappointed. No doubt it was a defensive master class by Mayweather. But, fights like this are killing boxing.
Boxing fans knew Mayweather wouldnt engage Pacquaio. But, non-boxing fans don't understand this.
Mayweather - The ATG defensive fighter. Thats it
He needs to leave his father if he is going to do anything in his sport. This is not the Eubank SNR show. Let your son make his own way instead of getting into the ring inbetween rounds doing absolutely nothing. Prat
I never liked aj but I think he wins. DDD is subpar, watch his fights with joyce or larena...
You might want to watch his most recent fights - Miller, Hergvic. He's improved
