DAVID HAYE has warned gobby Tyson Fury he likes nothing more than silencing opponents who are all talk and no action.
Fury insisted in June he was “the greatest fighter that’s ever lived”.
And the mouthy Mancunian warned ‘The Hayemaker’ at the weekend that: “No heavyweight has done what I’m going to do.”
But former WBA heavyweight champion Haye, 32, has vowed to shut him up when the pair meet at the Manchester Arena on September 28.

Hayefaker describing himself.
Going with round 3 on this one :boxing:
yea,,,Im thinking 2 or 3. if fury manages to get to the 6th it could get real interesting but I think haye is just too damn explosive for fury
fury actually has pretty good hand and foot speed for such a big man. I still think haye sparks him out early tho

I've gotta disagree with that!!!
Fury is flat footed, slow and has terrible, terrible footwork.
He leans on smaller opponent because of his size but he has never fought anyone as fast as Haye, who will catch him coming in and be out of there before Fury knows what has happened.
One shot from Haye could end the fight at any time.

Say what you want abour Fury but he is not flatfooted and does not have bad footwork. Especially considering how big he is.
The big guy moves quite well.
I agree
Haye's strategy should be to try and get Fury out as quickly as possible.
Haye has also brought in some questionable sparring partners. The only thing Wilder, Towers and Wach have in common with Fury is that they are tall, that's it. None of them move as well as Fury, none of them have an inside game like Fury, none of them have a jab like Fury.

It annoys me when Haye keeps going on about how much Fury 'talks'. Up until this fight, David Haye did nothing but talk. All he did in the build-up to his fight with Wlad was talk then didn't produce.
The only reason he isn't talking in the build-up to this fight is because Fury is actually a better talker and (dare I say it) has more charisma......I still think Tyson will get knocked out though
This is kinda what Fury said, so Fury is a bit of a psychologist. Fury does talk and backs it up, and so does haye though. Only once did he not and that was against someone as good as Wlad though.

If Fury survives past the sixth round Haye is in a whole heap of trouble.

Fury is a tailor made KO victim for Haye. It will be shorter than the Chisora fight. Not that I ofcourse will be rooting for Fury, and Fury knocking out Haye would be the greatest thing for boxing ever.
But it won't happen.
I think there's a decent chance of that happening. Fury is bigger and heavier than Wlad and fights dirty. If he doesn't get KOd early, he'll smother Haye. Something Wlad didn't do.
I was obviously trolling there. But yes, Wlad-Fury is more worthwhile, style-wise.
Ah, OK - I get it.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a Fury-Wlad fight too, but this is a credible fight between two legitimate top 7 guys.
Pulev, Thompson, Helenius, Adamek, Chagaev, Solis, Thompson, Stiverne, Arreola would all be less credible.
Pulev the exception, that would be equal to Fury. Only Povetkin, Wlad and Vitali would be decisively better opponents.

And what about this:
?
So Fury is good enough to fight the undisputed champion of the world but not a contender in Haye? lol
Makes sense.

Yes, and I was talking about Wladimir in this case, not Haye. They are, you know, not the same person.
And what about this:
Tyson Fury would pummel Haye into retirement. That little sissy want none of a real challenge. Look how he ran from Wlad and Valuev. Fucker with corn rows oout of fashion on his head.

Says the guy who said this on the night of the Cunningham fight:
