AMIR KHAN has told Brit rival Kell Brook to forget about a big money showdown.
The Bolton welterweight has eyes for only Floyd Mayweather in September and ruled out an all-British clash with IBF champion Brook
Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn labelled Khan scared for not facing his man despite the huge sums on the table.
But Khan, 28, was foul mouthed in his response when asked if he was tempted to end the debate by beating Brook.

I'm a Brit and I can tell you Khan looked dreadful against Algeri. Brook crumbled Porter and especially Frankie Gavin. Khan does not really want that fight now. Brook is concussive.
I hate when dudes start off a post like that....you want some unbiased points or what? :lol1:
'Why should I give him the opportunity'? LOL, Khan hasn't held a world title in nearly 3 years. Brook just made his second title defence and is fighting in the 02 in London, an 18,000 arena.
Brook wants the fight because it's a huge fight, huge money, huge ratings, a domestic blockbuster in the UK with global implications for the world title.
Khan is looking to cash out with Floyd, pure and simple.
That's all in hindsight. If Hatton wanted it it would've happened. It was there to be made. Witter was a World champ, a fellow Brit and Ricky being cash cow he surely could've made it happen. Again, all in hindsight. My main point is that Hatton is as guilty as is Khan. The latter being bigger than the former is a hollow argument given both are independent events.
Rrrrright! I'm not doing ACCA, but thanks!
You just can't acept the fact that khunt khan is not as popular as you so want him to be can you?
Find your balls and face reality.
Oh wait, your balls are being tightly held in khunt khan's sweaty little palm...
The only time it was a "world level fight" was when Witter finally won a "world title". By which time Hatton was setting up fights with Castillo and subsequently Floyd Mayweather.
Juan Urango was the IBF champion. Castillo was fighting Herman Ndgodgou on the undercard. It was a set up for the Hatton-Castillo fight assuming both won.
Witter wasn't a factor as Hatton had already set these fights up before Witter finally won a world title.
Maybe you weren't watching boxing at the time but i'm always happy to educate you.
If Khan had been fighting a champion or setting up a big fight or doing anything to further his career, I'd say fair enough. But what direction was Chris Algieri ever going to take his career? Even if he stopped him, no one would really care. Instead he looked like complete sh1t having turned down 5 times more money to fight a champion in Kell Brook.

I agree Khan-Brook is bigger, but Hatton-Witter was a World level fight as well. Just not the same as the former, but would've been very big in England.

No, but Juan Urango, a Colombian in U.S. was any better? Witter was the WBC champ at that time and like I've said if Showtime gave him another look for Bradley then HBO could've done the same for Hatton.

Bradley-Witter was years after the Judah fight. When Witter won a world title and actually put in a good performance against Vivian Harris. And he was fighting an American. Before that, American TV weren't interested in Junior Witter. It would have just been a domestic level fight - Brook vs. Khan clearly has global interest.

I don't get what Khan-Brook being bigger has anything to do with Hatton-Witter. Both needed to happen. In both cases the guys are ducking/ed although one gets called on it.
If anything Witter actually went the traditional route winning all belts where as Brook made a name off Khan.
Witter wasn't a world champion when Hatton fought Maussa who was a world champion. Lazcano was a comeback fight after Hatton just got KO'd by Mayweather. Obviously wasn't going to go straight into a World title fight after that.
Who has Amir fought after he's been cleaned out? Osin Faigan and Carlos Molina if my memory serves me correctly.

That's because he doesn't deserve the same grilling because it's a completely different magnitude of situation and trust me, there were plenty of people who gave Hatton sh1t for "ducking" Witter.
Khan wasn't given any stick for not fighting Brook when Brook was a nobody so why would Hatton be? It's like slagging off Khan for not fighting John Murray
Murray-Khan was a British title level rivalry. In the case of Hatton-Witter both were World champs and it was a lot more doable than Urango as mentioned.
Well that seems to have got rid of him.......I hope !
If you can't hold your own then feel free to p1ss off instead of hanging off of other people's posts.
:haha: :haha:soooo....what are you saying? pacman caught floyd with a cuff round the ear ole? what was that like...two of the three he landed overall? cunt.
yup.....just a hypejob.
:crackhead

ok, there you have it. another complete cunt of a statement from the "superdooperstar bumplug". lets disect this for what it REALLY means.
first of all, the bum is correct, he doesnt need kell because he really cant cope with another loss and his excuse is more losing to kell rather than kell not being a name despite the fact that kell is unbeaten and had more unbeaten fights and total fights than her aaaaand he is a current world champion which happens to be what the bum always said he wanted to face and also said when kell has a world title then ask me. scared of kell? no but, scared of losing to kell....absolutely a big huge fat yes...obviously.
contradiction:the bum said she only wanted the big names but claims its not about the money...big names = money and she "dont wanna be a cunt about it"? this is a suggestion that we all must be cunts. surely not?
kell brook would and could fill wembley or old trafford with ease and the bolton 8itch could fill a pi55 bag so i fail to see where or why the bum would avoid kell brook.
kell brook: world champion.unbeaten.genuine british star with massive likeability here in the u.k and a big draw in the british boxing scene and i think further a field. definately becoming a big player.
whats left for greedy boy? the dog ends......thats how it will all be told over the next couple of years.
i only hope that floyd mayweather picks kell brook for his next foe OR atleast kell brook before retiring without giving king nobody the chance for money. as i said before, its fackin embarrassing when they say "british superstar" the bum is nothing here and its not even laughable anymore.
there are many true british fighters who dont behave like this fackin stupid cunt ox joey fack witt. im goin for a poo.

It's crazy man, once upon a time I was a huge Khan fan. HUGE. Like he was right up there near the top for me. But dude has become a huge, annoying ass diva. It's one thing if you're Floyd Mayweather and you're a diva. Floyd earned that right. But Amir f**king Khan? Lmfaooooo
The f**k outta here. I can't stand the guy anymore. Can't believe I'm about to say this...but I might actually pull for Floyd if he fights him.

I don't understand where you got the American TV having no interest part. Especially when you question me bragging about Amir's American ratings (although that's arguing the case for Mayweather). Also Showtime broadcasted his defense against Bradley, so against the right guy he would be on U.S. TV not that it is relevant because it is a British super fight, but if Bradley-Witter was good enough, so will be Hatton-Witter for a World title too.

Is there a rule that it has to be 6/7 million for domestic fights? Again, Hatton could get Lazcano or Maussa in England, so he could certainly get Witter.

As for Brook on U.S. tv, well you got to give Eddie credit where it's due. The guy does his lads justice.
In a nut shell I believe Hatton was not nearly given the grilling as Khan is for ducking. He would've been made to look very ordinary. Something he was anyways.

Because the two situations were completely different. Do you really think there was 6 or 7 million on the table for Hatton to fight Junior Witter at any point in their careers?
American TV weren't interested in Junior Witter for years because the last time they showed him was against Zab Judah and he completely stunk the place out. American TV showed Brook's fight against Dan ffs. HBO are showing his next fight against Rios. Froch-Groves II did great numbers on HBO as would Brook-Khan.
By the time Witter even won a world title, Hatton was setting up a fight with Jose Luis Castillo - who was faded but ranked in the top 10 P4P at the time and a huge name. It would be sort of like if Khan fought Marquez now - I'd be fine with that fight because Marquez is a bigger name than Kell Brook.
But he's not. He's fighting Chris Algieri's. Which did absolutely nothing for him except make him look bang average and make him lose support.

Yeah, why fight Brook when you can fight guys with no power for better money, even though "It's not about the money" :pat:
Exactly! Khan is full of crap! He would make FAARR more money fighting Brook in an all U.K. showdown rather than fighting Algeri yet he fights feather fist Algeri anyway?
Khan's exact reasoning for not fighting Brook is what Mayweather should use against him. Personally I don't like Khan and I hope he is forced into fighting Brook.
that's a tough fight King...Brook can rumble but I believe you'd beat him as well...just wait till your obsession with Floyd is dead and then you can get back to being the King Khan we know and love....the dude who fights EVERYBODY!! :boxing:
Taking on Algieri was a mistake compounded by a mediocre performance. Playing it safe for Floyd when he isn't guaranteed the fight.
