I heard Khan pretty much dominated the sparring with Angulo after a few warm up rounds. The question is did sparring Khan actually make Angulo somewhat gun-shy, befuddled and shot worn? Many fighters have claimed to have done this as sparring partners in the past - most recently George Groves claimed that he softened Froch up in sparring for the first Kessler fight and then softened Kessler up in sparring for the Froch rematch.
So question is did Khan soften up Angulo too much and render him somewhat shell-shocked? To me he looked a little over-trained and battle weary.

I'm starting to think Amir wants the fight ...well not the fight ,but the money that it brings . He knows Brooks name isn't known in the US .So maybe Amir's trying to get some hype for the fight to build out here . And Kell ... Gotta test truly yourself before a fight of that magnitude for you . Keep playing it safe waiting for khan it might backfire and you can run into a spoiler .
First fight that instantly came to my head without even seeing the list was and is Margarito / cotto 1 . My dad and I were not too far away from cottos family and seeing them balling as the fight was ending was crazy . I remember saying to my dad " cotto quit " and my dad telling me " good , he was getting killed in there". Number two would be Castillo /Corrales . Off the top the first name that comes to mind is Fernando Vargas . Also , I've read post on here about Vitali and his actions in the Ukraine and there are two sides to that story . There is a group in the Ukraine who are against the actions of Vitali and the So called revolutionaries . The groups name is Anonymous Ukraine . E mails were recently hacked by Anonymous Ukraine that reveal vitali has gotten not only his funding but also his commands from western powers such as the European Union and the U.S to destabalize the democratically elected government in the Ukraine .Anonymous Ukraine believes the revolutionaries are trying to overthrow the government to usher in their own that will allow Ukraine to join the E.U

Prime Margarito vs Prime Kirkland Marg takes Kirklands best shots and grinds him down BY the 6th or 7th round even . people on here with all that Margacheeto stuff act I as if he wore the Magic Wraps every fight ? I seen the man live when he almost killed cotto in their first fight ...he can fight. He almost had Cotto again in the rematch when the Ref stopped the fight due to his orbital bone which was damaged in the PAC fight .Margo wins 7th round stoppage .
This might be interesting ... Joe Chavez ( cottos cut man on numerous fights ) is always at my sons gym. So I asked his opinion on the fight . Says he thinks cottos too small and sees cotto possibly getting stopped @ the 8th round ... Agree with joe Sergio been hearing all this he's gotten old stuff He's making a statement in this fight. Seems as if Espinoza put his faith in Haymon to deliver good fights but instead got tune ups that costed SHO an arm n a leg and Oscar got hip to what they were up to and wanted no part of it . Meanwhile Mayweathers still got two fights on his pricey contract with the fans DEMANDING a worthy ( PAC , COTTO , etc. ) oopponent .
Seemed unwarranted. I can't really critizice or judge him for it as I have watched fights where I wished the ref would get KO'd. Most recently, Bayless in the Maidana-Mayweather fight. Sometimes refs need to get put in their place for their favoritism and corrupt ways.

In amateur boxing u have corruptness also . Maybe not to the extent of the pros because theres no money at stake . But u do see things like judges and refs favoring a certain fighter or trainer and even the fighter havinga parent or both that work for USAboxing as refs or judges . Even if They dont judge or ref their kid's fight they're part of the inner circle so their kid gets favorable treatment whether in a fight or getting an opponent chosen
It's nice to see some skilled punchers in the sport these days, running so many divisions. Wlad is a puncher, Kovalev and Stevenson are punchers, Golovkin obviously, Alvarez can punch, Danny Garcia can punch, Mikey Garcia can punch, Rigo can punch, the featherweights can all punch.
It's nice as a fan to have that element of "any shot can end it" when watching title fights.

I rewatched the first fight today and I thought Marquez just barely won it. He barely lost the second fight. I thought he won the third, and of course the fourth.
I give him 3 out of 4 fights.

Training a fighter from childhood to the pros is irrelevant. The fact is Roach took a young and crude fighter in Manny Pacquiao and help mold him into the best fighter of his era. Not many trainers can do that and to pretend the Mayweathers are on the same level is blasphemy.
There's only two trainers today who should even be compared to Roach and that's Nacho Bernstein and Robert Garcia. And maybe you can throw in Abel Sanchez.
