khan is losing significantly on espn website poll and the ring boxing website poll and ********* poll. So why is he winning on Floyd official poll? not many brits on espn i reckon, that one makes sense. not sure about the others, maybe the same reason.

No need to rig it.. Khan is a bigger worldwide star than Maidana, the ring and ESPN are American based so will mostly be voted on by Americans... the rest of the world will be looking at the official poll.

That is why non scientific polls are useless, the results are always based on who you ask because you can get a poll to come out whatever way you want based on how a question is asked to certain groups. Now espn and the ring are probably more in tune with how an average person would feel if they cared at all (more to do with espn than the ring because anyone that goes to the ring website they probably care more than a bit about boxing) but there is still a large group that wants to see Khan. I still don't get why people even debate this because while Miadana is the guy actually more deserving does that make him any more or less likely to beat Floyd, I don't really think so. Although I will say Maidana would likely be a bit trickier because once Khan is figured out it is curtains for him, although Khan probably has the more unique attributes compared to guys Floyd has faced recently. Now while Maidana is probably more in line with the guys Floyd has faced recently he is at least fairly awkward and once he gets figured out at least he will he has a better chance of throwing caution to the wind. Not much in it in terms of actual competition though either way~

People are too thick to understand that. They want to think it is actively being rigged. The reality is that the poll has been rigged from beginning because it is simply a numbers game. Khan is unbeatable in this format just from the fan base he already has. He has a segment of voters that would vote for him no matter what, Maidana's similar segment is pitifully small.
