Full question: What are boxing matches where the boxer(s) fought with the MOST bad intentions you've ever seen?
List boxers who fight with the most bad intentions you have ever seen.
I mean, a fighter who threw punches to really, really hurt his opponent -- badly.
That murderous mindset.
An extreme thirst for blood.
To use every fiber in his being to destroy the man in front of him.
A boxer who is in the zone. In beast mode. He has the mindset of bashing his fists against his opponent's face with maximum force humanly possible to the point where something's gotta give -- his fists or his opponent.
Margarito's first fight against Cotto.
Yeah. Marg vs Cintron also, remember marg motioning for kermit to get up so he can beat him more.
Corey Sanders vs Wlad also probably worth mentioning.
Am I reaching or was Shane trying to kill Margarito in their fight? Maybe not right from the jump, but when he built up momentum it seemed like he was trying knock his shit all the way off
duran, tyson, foreman, liston, mcclellan, hearns, j. jackson, hagler (after being robbed), dempsey, louis, young hopkins, young toney, a. moore, shavers, w. gomez, marciano, foster, saad muhammad, cuevas, mugabi, norris (with a few exceptions), naz etc all entered the ring thinking knockout each and every time.
some fought like furious lions desperate for blood (duran, tyson, dempsey), others with the methodical approach of an assassin (hearns, louis, toney). but they all had one purpose in mind. knockout.
most of them didnt do it to entertain either, they may have said they did but they would have fought the same way in an empty arena with no cameras. they just enjoyed knocking mother****ers out.
Wilfredo Gomez was / is the best finisher I've ever seen, when the man got the smell of blood he always knocked them out in some murderous fashion, just a ****in lion
Benn v G Man, what a brutal war of a bout. This wasn't boxing, it was too in ring animals wanting to tear each other apart.
I have to mention Jirov v Toney, two man who didn't or couldn't or wouldn't give a ****. They tore their careers in half with the physicality they showed in the ring that night. It was the first time in years I'd seen Toney so damn mean. He wanted to tear Jirov limb from limb...those counters were something else.
And Jirov, he could take a punch and he just kept coming. Even when he was getting caught with almost every thrown punch...beast!

floyd-maidana 2. floyd went for the ko and only maidana's iron chin and iron will kept him on his feet.
Floyd's counters looked extremely sharp. It doesn't get any better than that.
Early Roberto Duran had devastatingly mean intentions!
I remember watching some early fights & he would have some mad crazy eyes & had an intensely fierce expression on his face! ":davil2:"
hagler, late period barrera, cotto, were primarily boxers.
especially hagler and cotto. cotto came forward for a very brief time at 140. he could be hurt and backed up throughout his career.
hagler was a boxer puncher. he had great footwork, very good handspeed, and a great boxing style ont he outside. lots of people don't know this, but hagler had a 75 inch reach. that's HUGE on a 5'9" middleweight.
I suppose I misunderstood the header?
Sure Marvelous was a master boxer. Cotto and of course Barrera as well. I was remarking on their killer instinct though maybe that's not what the thread is about...oops.
Foreman, Hagler, Tyson, Barrera, Cotto, sure I've forgotten a couple of guys.

Pretty much any Kovalev fight, but specifically vs. Silakh. He called him a "fkn runner", then when he turned his legs into jelly he said "fkn dancer" while standing over his KTFO body. that was brutal
