Roy Jones moving back down from HW to LHW if he stayed at Heavyweight he prob beats a shot Holyfield and Tyson and makes alot more money with both PPV doing a 1 mil.
this is it, hands down.
tarver attending that post fight conference was the ONE incident that started rjj's decline.
Not the worst but possibly top ten would be Amir khan sitting out a whole year in hopes of landing a Mayweather fight . Passing up a shot at Devon Alexander's title just to get passed up on himself by Mayweather .:pat:

Totally agree, but the fact was that those guys were so much bigger than mike and they could absorb his shots and lay on him, and really make mike work, and if your mike's handlers, why would you wanna give him a fight vs guys that are gonna make him work, when everyone knows mike was pretty much checked out in that stage of his career..
Jirov, moorer, mesi would have been bigger name fights plus easier for mike to hurt
Not sure why all 3 got quoted,, was only responding to the last quote
I think Gabriel Rosado giving up his IBF title shot to fight GGG just to get dismantled was a terrible business move.

Tyson quit in those fights more than anything

Nah, I think the Golovkin route worked out. Preimum cable paid him relatively well compared the crap he would have gotten fighting Bundrage on ESPN. Getting beat up by Golovkin but not going down and "showing heart", got him three more fights on premium cable including another tile fight for decent paydays. He would have gotten beat up by Molina afterwards for nothing had he gone the Bundrage route.
Marquez fighting Chris john
That also worked out because got to fight Pacquiao two more times when Pac was a superstar.
Having Tyson comeback vs huge guys like Danny Williams and Kevin mcbride
Tyson always struggled with bigger guys and especially him that was a shot fighter looking for a paycheck... They should have matched him vs jirov, moorer, mesi,
