I have never seen anyone bash Duran,Calzaghe, and James Toney.
Those 3 seen to be the most liked and respected fighters in the history of boxing. Those 3 legends ducked no one and always stood toe to toe and banged it out.
Right now, Roman Gonzalez is one of the few respected fighters.
Roman Gonzalez is well respected, but that's partly because more than half of the forum doesn't watch his fights. Gonzalez is the guy that boxing hipsters are big on right now:
"Well, Floyd and Pacquiao are good fighters, but I'm pretty big on Roman Gonzalez right now.....what, you've never heard of El Chocolatito before? Like never?" *sips Starbucks latte furiously*

You just haven't been on here long enough.
I've seen all three fighters get bashed on here.
Haha I just died when I seen this :lol1:
What? I've seen Calzaghe get bashed up like a sack of cans by posters on here before.
a few months back some racist dude had a big multi page thread shitting on Duran and trying to explain how he wasn't a top 50 ATG. Can't remember he's name ... bran something
anyone that doesn't get much hype, or isn't that good, you have that pity so people dont hate on them, but as soon as a guy is succesful, and they have a following, the btch in people come out and in a fit of jelousy, they hate
I've never seen Augustus get any hatred on here. Or Henry Armstrong. If you're looking at Duran's era, I'd say Hagler gets less stick than Manos de Piedra.
Froch seems to have gone from being one of the least respected boxers on NSB to being one of the most respected. He still gets grief from Ward fanboys but nowhere near as much.
Honestly there isn't a fighter alive or dead that doesn't get bashed on here
:lol1: yeah NSB pretty much slaughters everyone.
Having said that some fighters are more popular than others, there were some polls run a while back. I think Golovkin is the new darling of this forum, but Pacquiao is still up there.
