if Shane still has that Hunger to win. Its been almost a year and since he destroyed Margarito. His inactivity will most likely hurt him for this fight. The styles matchup would favor Shane in a pretty action pack fight, but he is 38 and most if not all are done by this time or on the decline. If Shane doesn't pull this one off, he should either retire or just make as much money as can with top 10 welterweights because hes most likely won't get a fight against Pac or Floyd until next year if they try and negotiate again near fall. One thing is for sure though, Shane has given his all to the sport and was willing to fight the best and most dangerous opponents out there when no one would give them a chance. Hats off to Shane win or lose it should be a great fight and will determine where he is at in his career. If anyone is deserving of one big payday before their career is over it would be this man. Hopefully he gets one Mega fight against either Pac or Floyd before his career is over. He deserves one huge payday for the great fights he has given his fans so far and continues to do. I was at the Fight past Saturday and thought I give you guys a quick peek of the fight live. I couldn't record all the rounds, but here is a different view of certain rounds. I have rounds 1 and 6. Round 6 one has david haye and amir khan chatting a bit. I was sooooo pissed because I had bought a 2000 dollar camera thinking I would be able to bring it into the arena and take some amazing pictures of the fight and some boxers, but I couldn't. I got screwed. lol Still amazing experience though. Here check it out. Pacs entrance Pac vs Cotto Round 1 Pac vs Cotto Round 6 Also has David Haye and Amir Khan. Also in this round Pac takes a vicious left from Cotto that would have put most fighters down or at least rocked them.

I would have to say Mosley beats Floyd at 135. His speed, power and combination punching at those weights was amazing to watch. Floyd has great defense but he was getting caught by a lot slower guys at that weight and Mosley was just a beast at that weight. His hands speed was faster than Floyds and he packed alot more power in his punches and was very accurate as well. Mosley via Decision or Ko within 9 rounds. PS I don't know about now, but Mosley still has alot left and would give a great fight even at his age.

JMM is all about skills. Hes showed he can fight the best in his division even when outsized and still come in and win or against Pac, give a great performance despite losing the decision. JMM boxing skills have already been put to the test against the best in his divisions. JMM has faced the best in his division all the time and has proven why he is the number 2 p4p today. Floyd's boxing skills on the other hand, has never been test against a great boxer such as a JMM. A fighter that can adjust and maintain a gameplan for 12 rounds is something that Floyd has never seen in his entire career. As of now, JMM is probably the most skilled opponent Floyd has faced in his career even at the age of 35. I always say your skills are only as great as the opponents you face. Your skills have to be tested against great fighter for them to be considered great. Fighting the Gatti, Baldimors, Chico(R.I.P) Castillos, or Zabs in the world don't make your skills great. Testing your skills against great fighters make them great. Even though JMM is the smaller fighter and giving up all the advantages and is supposed to lose in this fight according to most people here and experts, this is Floyds real test to see how great his boxing skills really are against a fighter who is 35 and has intangibles that can't be measured on paper. I feel this fight will go the distance despite what some people say. Floyds straight right lead will be his best weapon and even then, he lunges forward out of the high guard or low guard depending if hes using the low crouch stand or the high guard stand hes not going to be able to do that constantly against JMM. He lounges too much and can be counter after he throws it do to his balance once he misses, and countering is JMM specialty. If Floyd stays back and goes into defense, he can probably win an boring decision, but I feel Floyd really needs a big win to have any leverage against Pac when they try and make the fight happen. Can't wait for this fight despite what other people feel. Should be a good tactical fight and a few fireworks here and their. Don't care for the winner, just want to see a good fight :boxing:

Most likely none of these guys would go through that list undefeated, but who in your opinion had the best chance to do it and why. My personal choice would have to be Lennox Lewis. This man always seem to be underrated by most. Lennox had his huge height and size that he knew how to use well. A long powerful accurate Jab, and a sledge hammer right. Also had his deadly uppercuts and left hook. Basically had all the tools in his arsenal. Lennox had a decent chin and above average hand speed for a heavyweight his size. The most important thing Lennox had against most of his opponents was his smarts in the ring and his amazing timing. With all those tools I think he has the best chance to defeat everyone of those fighters in this list. Of course everyone here is in their prime just in case your wondering. I could only choose 10. I watched the fight like 6 + times and had Pac Man winning every single time. I just don't see how Marquez won that. Just want to see how many people think Pac won or Marquez without being biased. If that's even possible. Don't post much so just want to see whats you guys opinions on this great fight between the 2. Without being biased, and don't give me that well all these guys in the press row scored it for Marquez. I want your honest opinion on who you guys thought won. Only for people who watched the entire fight and not influence by biased decision. This is how I scored it Round 1 Pac 10-9 Round 2 Marquez 10-9 Round 3 Pac 10-8 ( could have been 10-7 when Marquez held himself up before the round ended ) Round 4 Pac 10-9 Round 5 Marquez 10-9 Round 6 Marquez 10-9 Round 7 Pac 10-9 Round 8 Marquez 10-9 Round 9 Pac 10-9 very close ( but pac landed a good left hand that opened a bigger cut on Marquez left eye. Landed almost the same amount with pac landing a 1 more punch but doing more damage) Round 10 Pac 10-9 Round 11 JMM 10-9 Very close round. Pac did the most damaging punches with his left hand. Could have gone either way. Round 12 Jmm 10-9 6 round to 6 with the knockdown being the difference. I got Pac winning by 1 point do to the knockdown. On another note, I really wished that Floyd would have fought someone like Berto or Collazo as a tune up so Pac and JMM could finish there unfinished business at 140. I for one am hoping Shane has one final great performance in his career with this being the last one. If Shane is to possibly win, he would need to fight just like he did in the Collazo fight, keeping the fight in the middle of the ring and boxing in angles and picking his shots and combos wisely. If he can do that for 12 rounds Shane wins this fight. The man is a legend and has never ducked nobody and always fights fighters that other boxers aren't willing to give a chance such as Winky. Haye as you can see in this fight can't handle the jab well. He was getting hit by Monte Jab when Monte actually started throwing it with commitment. He just didn't throw enough of it to keep Haye at bay. Haye is an alright fighter, but if he steps up to Vitali, he is gonna get destroyed. Vitali Jab will be a huge factor if he fights Haye. Haye will have to work extra hard to get past that jab, and when he does, hes gonna have to deal with the straight right hand. Haye needs to improve his defense alot more and throw his jabs to set up his other punches better. He throws too much 1, 2 and there pretty wide and you can see it coming. Haye better not step up to Vitali because he has a very slim chance unless he improves big time. He has way to much holes and he doesn't use his jab often. But, I give him a chance with Vlad because of Vlads Chin. Vlad will have to avoid the big Haymaker hooks that Haye throws that can catch Vlad just like Brewster did. Other than that. David Haye is an exciting fighter that will go for the knockout, but he doesn't stand a chance against Vitali with the way he fights now. He had to improve otherwise he just can't win that fight. If they fight, Vitali by 7 round stoppage or earlier.

I would choose Jones most by UD decision or 5 to 6 round Knockout. But what do you guys think. Jones last night I would rate 2/10 of what he was in his prime. He should retire now. Good win for Joe, but doesn't really do anything for his legacy besides adding a big name to his resume.

This is a very interesting match up that I always wanted to see happen back in the day. If this fight happened when Erik was in his prime for vs a Prime JMM, I see Morales battering him badly everytime JMM would hit him Morales would get mad and just charge with his offensive onslaught of faint right hand and combinations to throw JMM off. Either way I think it would be good close tough fight for Erik Morales. He was just too good of a boxer and had a heart of a warrior and would always go to War even when he could easily outbox his opponents. My vote is for ERIK MORALES Who you guys got?

His last fight was like 3 months ago and he still hasn't chosen an opponent for his next fight. He should hurry up an fight Paul Williams now since they both don't have fights and fight for both there belts. The only welterweights doing any noise at Welter are Oscar and Pac( pac ain't even a true welterweight ). Maybe Hatton and Paulie ( Paulie is gonna pull through ), but these guys better start making some noise because I don't here shit about any of the Welters right now and its getting boring. I don't know about you guys, but I think the damage he had to withstand to take Cotto out has done some substantial damage to Margarito in some way. His next fight should be against one of the top Welters and the only one thats available right now is Paul Williams. Margarito better make this fight happen. You got fighters like JMM, Pac, Hopkins, fighting the best fighters they can possibly face back to back and Margarito can be with those elite group of Warriors whose not afraid to step up there game and keep on fighting the best available to them. The size difference in this fight was huge. Cotto look like a lil boy compared to Margarito. Pac fighting Dela Hoya would look very similar in size ratio. I fear for the smaller mans life as in this fight showed. Cotto is great, but Margs sheer size and ability to walk threw Cottos hardest punches and keep comming was crazy. Should fight Pac, he should get atleast 15 to 20 million for the fight because of the damage DelaHoya might do to the smaller man. Even though I fear for Pacs safety I still think he will not quit like Cotto did. Cotto gassed out because he didn't pace himself well. Cotto was moving to much. He should have just stood his ground in the middle of the ring, thats where Marg would just sit there and not really do much when Cotto would stand his ground in the middle of the ring. When his back was against the ropes is when Marg would actually throw. Pac against Hoya would probably be similar with Cotto vs Marg, with Hoya the one trying to pressure Pac all night because he is the bigger man. Even though most think he shouldn't take this fight, I think he should take it do to the fact that this is a no lose situation for Pac. Legacy will be raised or stay the same depending on the outcome.

Shane Mosely. This would be a great fight. The styles are perfect. It would indeed be fight of the year. Cotto likes to come forward and throw while mosely too like to trade a doesn't like to be hit so he throws as much as he recieves. Even though I like both fighters, Shane would probably win this by decision or maybe even knockout. Shane has the power, speed, chin, and heart to take cotto out. Would be a great fight either way.

Barrara. Its the fight that will generate the most as of now and its the only fight that makes alot of sense right now. They are both at the top of there game and Barrara who isn't getting any younger should fight Pac as soon as possible so there won't be any excuses from any of them. Barrara wants to prove it wasn't him in there in the ring fighting Pac and Pac wants to prove it was no fluke. Even though I do favor Pac I still want this to happen so Pac can shutup his other critics that say it was an off night from Barrara. Barrara beat Ruiz, but theres just no way Pac will stay on the outside and let Barrara pick him apart..... After this fight happens then you think about all those young lions ready to fight, but as of now Pac should fight Barrara while hes not too old yet. ARUM or Dela Hoya MAKE THIS FIGHT HAPPEN!!!
