Well it depends, if a fighter is making 4 million or more for a fight, you better make sure he gives the fans a entertaining fight if not a 2 to 5 % deduction fee should be applied.
I think this should only apply to those big stars, like Manny Pac, Floyd Jr, Shane Mosley, Cotto, and fighter that make a exceptional living. 2 to 5 % is nothing to them, but atleast its there in the back of there mind to try there best to entertain when they can.
Other than that, they should have a KO bonus or fight of the night type rewards, that will motivate a lot of the up and comers and super stars to do there best to put on a exciting show.
I think overall, it doesn't change any ones style, but it will motivate them to take more chances to try and get that KO for added bonus to there check if they so choose too. Plus it would bring in some more fans or casual fans that just love watching sports for entertainment.

This fight has a great chance to break the 2.5 million. Plenty of time to promote this fight. That and the 24/7 shows are gonna be real good because of the bad blood between the two. The only bad thing about this fight doing so well is, we might not ever see Pac vs Floyd fight ever. Floyds Ego will get even bigger than it already is and so long for the biggest fight that can ever be made of this generation.

It reminds me of the Roy Jones vs Joe Calzaghe matchup. Shane is done. His stamina was terrible in that fight. after 3 rounds. Its like he just gave up. His jab had no pop after he was using it in the first 2 rounds to set up his straight right up top. He stop setting it up and he was pushing all his punches from round 3 on. Its like he was pushing floyd with his punches just to touch him. Either way, I really think this fight was set up so we can have the real fight everyone wants to see. Pac vs Floyd. I was also surprise when Shane was like now you guys get to see Pac vs Floyd fight like it was his job to lose or something. That don't sound right to me. Well hopefully we actually get Pac vs Floyd later in the year if not all boxing fans are fudged.
Pac won both fights. First fight should of been Pacs. Second fight wasn't even as close as people make it out to be. Pac won with the better quality punches throughout the fight making Marquez miss more than usual. 7 round to 5 for pac.
Oscars was a dominating performance against a unmotivated Mayorga. Mayorga looked 3 times more motivated and in shape compared to the Dela Hoya fight. He wasn't too crazy in the Mosley fight. He was actually picking his crazy shots well against Mosley. But in the end I would have to say that Moselys win is much better for the fact that hes 37 and he knockout a 170 Mayorga out cold which no one has done till now. Go Mosley
All the tricks are coo, but when you throw the ball at the opponents face like that, thats plain disrespectful. Plus those damn basketballs are pretty hard so it hurts a bit when thrown at. Jamm my damn hand on a basketball many times. Pac should Spar with the professor and see how good he is in boxing since hes man enough to throw a basketball at his face. I feel Pac will have to throw the uppercut while inside and not try to do what Paulie did and throw it from the outside and try and catch Hatton coming in. If Pac did what Paulie did with the uppercut from the outside trying to time Hatton, Pac would be wide open for a brutal straight or hook to the face if he misses. I'm betting Pac will be looking to go to Hatton's body when Hatton tries to jump in after moving his head, but will be hit with a brutal body shot from the Pac Man. Hatton's body always seems wide open when he comes in with his leaping left 45 type jab uppercut.
Anyways, I got Pac by TKO or KO in a brutal fight for both fighters. Can't wait!!

yup. Alot of people had their doubts when they showed that Slo mo trailer from IGN, but this should put those doubts to rest. I wonder how fast a fighter like Shane and maybe even Manny Pac will throw punches. June 30 seems so far way.

Well it always take 2 great fighters to sell a fight of this magnitude. Hatton vs Paulie didn't do that well. And Pac vs Diaz didn't do that well either. When the 2 meet is when you get fights that sell a lot. Ricky fans don't want to see Ricky fight someone garbage. They want to see him fight someone like Pac. So essentially Ricky fans that buy tickets to see Hatton are also buying to see Pac. So there haha.

The man speaks the truth. You got to fight fighters in their prime to prove your the best even if you lose. He fought Cotto to try and prove he belongs in the top, but Cotto was just too good for him. Hatton did man up and fight Mayweather, to prove hes the best, but he too lost. I have alot of respect for both fighters who are willing to fight a prime fighter that is not 35+ to prove there the champ.

All Joe had to do was come to the States and fight the best like Lennox did, and know one would question him. If Lennox Lewis did, why couldn't Joe? Lewis could have stayed in UK and fought bums all his career and been undefeated too, but he wanted to prove he was the best so he came to the States and took out most of his competition. Which is why Lennox is an 20 All time great and Joe is not.
What exactly stop Joe from coming to the States back then? Nothing. He was contempt at fighting bums most of his career only having the courage to go to the US to fight once great champs in their Era now old and not nearly the work rate they used to have. This is why Joe doesn't deserve much credit. He never fought a great fighter in his prime. He could have done more to prove himself, but he never even tried. He is now just trying to beat fighters with names to try and make his Resume look good. Sooner or later, he might be calling out Thomas Hearns at the rate hes going just to add another name.
