If he does pass the timing is eerie. Saturday we're supposed to see the "next american heavyweight champ". It just shows that when Ali passes, so does the heavyweight division in the US.
I think those pic belts are exactly what the sport needs. **** the wba, wbo, ibf, wbc, and all the diamond interim super jr champs. If one man can get a stranglehold on the game, only the fans win.
forget fighting the champions in your division. You gotta go for the tall guys that fight in the small weight classes because there are so many guys out there that will satisfy your height requirement and also weigh in at 147, and also be the best available fighter.
I got Garcia pulling off the upset... He always finds a way to prove his doubters wrong. First they said he couldn't beat morales, then herrara, now they say he couldn't possibly make it to the final bell.. I say he comes out on top
I think cotto would lose, but praising ggg's chin and power like it's been tested at the world class level is bs. He hasn't fought anyone yet. He's fought a bunch of JMWs and about the same level of comp as chavez before he fought sergio.
Wrong. They dont say it because 100% of all boxing fans are all biased for past ATG's. People lie all the time about what SRL and SRR would do to Pac and Floyd.
Anyone with eyes can see their is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY those outdated azz fighters can beat fighters of Floyd and Pac's caliber. But people always lie and act like they would lose to them. Im not stoopid I know boxing and I know skills.
I agree about srr, but I think the greats of the 80s are way better than most fighters today and could dominate or at the very least compete with the greats of today.
I don't see how anyone could say Floyd or Manny are a higher caliber than SRL or that either of them can beat him easy.
70. Why pay more? They're supposed to fight eachother. You shouldn't have to pay more for a good card. Ufc doesn't charge more and their cards are always good
The margarito/paul williams myth....
Of course you compare the prime versions of those fighters to a 37 year old floyd preformance. The fact is they both would follow him around eating counters all night. Maidana had success because of his wild style, margs and pwill are far more predictable. I feel embarrassed for all of the people claiming floyd lost. It makes you seem so desperate.
This forum has been overrun by emotional haters and trolls.
Mayweather won. everytime someone doesn't get completely blown out by him, they have the "blueprint". It was obvious that he figured out maidana halfway through the fight. You don't win rounds by bull rushing your opponent and flailing ur arms only hitting arms and shoulders while getting hit with all the clean, effective punches. Hitting arms and shoulders do damage... but they don't score points.
He's mad! Lol it's funny though cuz Floyd can't crack a million buys under Showtime. 1-4 fights he's done it and it was vs Canelo! Floyds gonna have problems competing against a fight like Cotto vs Canelo after that wack ass fight we saw 2 weeks ago. F*ck Floyd!
Who in this sport is cracking a million buys at the moment? That's a nonsensical comment. It's not because he's on showtime, it's because there is no one out there who is credible/popular enough to draw in those types of figures.
At this point it's Mayweather vs. Pacquiao or bust for both fighters.
To be fair to pac.. he looked impressive enough to me against bradley. His power has never been a one shot KO. That only happend with hatton, and even he went down b4 he was out.
Pacquiao's power has always been accumulative. For him to get you out of there he has to be accurate like he was against cotto, and relentless. When he hit bradley he hurt him, but bradley was elusive, and he was extremely carefull. The problem was that pac wasn't relentless, he seemed content with winning on the scorecards and rightfully so. But in one of the worst years of boxing, it wasn't in the cards for him(pun intended).
People don't think Maidana's power is gone because he couldn't get khan out of there. Why would pacquiao's power come to question because he couldn't Ko a guy who's never been KOED.

i agree... if he swings wide like that with pacquiao.. hes gonna get tapped up with those str8 punches pac loves to throw. But its definitely a winnable fight for bradley.
Hes spot on. Bradley won one early round. And swept the last 3... but that's it, he clearly lost. This is just Bob preventing the mayweather fight. I think now he knows may wont give up 50/50 even if the numbers come in even, so he will use Floyd not wanting to give 50/50 as an excuse on why the fight still isn't happening.

im rican... but imagine if a white guy was saying all this stuff about black ppl...he would be in prison ... "exterminate white people".... unbelievable ignorance....Time to remove that slavery crutch... we're all in the same boat.
