The hate just keeps him in the public eye,
future hall of famer.
I thought you was a European nut hugger. Please take an American treasure Andre Ward out of your avatar.
Calz can stay away for all I care. It's time to create new stars in boxing. The DLH's, Jones', Hopkins', Toney's, Hatton's, etc... are a thing of the past. It's time for new stars to rise.
He was getting his ass kicked without the headbutts. Did you miss those HARD right hands that were landing flush? Did you see the defense that totally locked him up to the point where he didn't know what to do anymore?
Ward would easily beat Kessler again.
We get it bruh. You think Mayweather will beat Pacquiao. No need to make 10 topics a day about why you think he will. The same idiots did it about Cotto over Pac for 4 months and just ended up looking like assholes who shouldn't even watch boxing.
It wasn't just hit and hold. Ward honestly didn't hold that much at all, and when he did it wasn't really a negative type of holding. He would come in and muscle Kessler around a little bit, throw a solid uppercut, then get back to beating his ass on the outside. Negative holding is somewhat like Dirrell was doing. He doesn't work on the inside whatsoever. Ward can and does.
I think Taylor will deal with the holding better. Maybe fire some combos while Ward leans in to grab. One thing good is Taylor wont have to worry about the pace or Wards power.
Yea, cuz Kessler wasn't hurt at all by Ward's right hands...Oh wait he was. And he has a much better chin than shot ass Taylor does on top of it. Ward has power when he sits down on his shots. More than enough to finish that weak bearded Taylor.
Ward by brutal knockout.
Maybe, but I think he's passed his prime. Calzaghe ruined him mentally. We've seen it a lot in recent years.
Margo ruined Cotto
Hopkins ruined Pavlik
Calzaghe ruined Kessler
some guys don't recover once they lose. It's all over for them.
Another dorky ass hater complaining about something that's perfectly legit and legal. Because he's 6'1 and has a naturally lean body, he should be forced to bulk up and fight at 154? Or Paul Williams should have to fight at 175? That's bullshit, and you are dumb for suggesting that what these fighters do isn't perfectly natural and acceptable.
he cant even sell out his home town:ugh:
That's Chad Dawson, who gets booed during and after his hometown fights. Paul is a national fighter. He doesn't fight in his hometown.
i wouldn't call any of them cowards...but paul walks around at 185...he can go fight chad dawson if he wanted...it's not hard to figure out why the WW division is shutting him out...clottey called him out tho...but shit...he can fight chad dawson too...
Paul doesn't walk around at 185 bro. I weigh about 185, and I'm 6'4. Paul is A LOT leaner than me. Paul walks around at 170 tops.
IDK about that. I hate it how everyone in boxing thinks they can see the future. Just because someone says "not now" doesnt mean they never will. The fact is that there are bigger fights out there for these guys. You cant deny that. I still say people are crazy if they think Mosley wouldnt fight Williams. He just wont fight Williams now. Why fight him for peanuts when you can fight Pac or Floyd who are probably easier for 5x the amount and they are ranked #1 P4P. It would be dumb for Shane to fight Paul before those fights are off the table and thats the same for everyone else
I think Mosley would be willing to fight Paul. Floyd? I just don't see it. If he won't even acknowledge that Paul exists right now, what is going to change in a year or two? Maybe if Paul beat Mosley and Pavlik...Floyd might be more open to the idea. Until then I seriously doubt it.
Pac Moving up 7 divisions > Williams moving down 2
Mayweather moving up 5 weight classes > Williams moving down 2
:puppy_dog
Nobody gives a fuk about that. Neither one would ever fight him. You can call it fear, or just that he doesn't bring enough money. Either way, it ain't happening.
I just don't buy that Floyd is going to change his stance and just "take on the world" before he retires. Floyd is confident, but he's also realistic about fights. I doubt he would even be back in boxing if it weren't for a fight with Pacquiao. I would bet that he fights Pacquiao once or twice and then leaves again, probably for good. His fans still believe he's willing to be a fighting champion, but it's probably not going to happen.
when two offensive fighters fight, the better offense wins. Pac clearly has better offense than Cotto. He no longer is the one handed fighter that lost to Morales and get KO'd early in his career.
Pac has a very good chance if Floyd does not start to throw Combos more
I'm with you on this one. Floyd ain't gonna be able to steal every round with 3 straight right hands and a dozen jabs. He ain't fighting a Carlos Baldomir this time.
Not even close bruh. Anyone who stands straight up like a tree (Pavlik) is going to get fukin WORKED by Williams. Did Winky and Margarito not teach you anything? Power doesn't affect Williams once he gets in his rhythm. Pavlik's only shot would be to catch him cold, but that ain't happening. Paul has better defense than Pavlik who literally has none. Paul would rip Pavlik apart.
One of those fighters is gonna think he's vulnerable and end up getting K the fuk O'd. Martinez is a great fighter and a stylistic nightmare for Paul and he STILL pulled it out. Any of them Welters wanna step up they getting hurt BAD!
