Has Khan potentially got the skills to become a legendary All Time Great and, if so, what would he need to do, who would he need to beat at the very least in order to reach ATG status?
Or, do you believe Khan would not even beat most of the elite boxers in the light welterweight division and he has no chance of becoming a multi-divisional world champion, or of ultimately becoming an ATG?
The very fact that you are asking this question and that people are excited about him are a testament to how much better the training is in the USA compared to the UK/mainland Europe.
Absolutely 100% he could be awesome but let's not forget - Salita was A HANDPICKED BUM.
You serious? He was a mandatory, not hand picked.

I think he's china-chinned and Tim Bradley would kill him. Bradley has a much better chance of being a great, IMO.
Bradly who has 11KO wins in 24 fights, sure he'd kill Khan.
would be a good fight though, 50/50
Way too early to tell. To judge a fighter you need to see them fight good opponents. Khan looks good against garbage but so do many others. To date the best fighter he has fought is Kotelnik . Barrera was great once but was old and shot when he faced Khan and the cut in round one meant Barrera was out of the fight. What I learned last night was not that Khan was great but Salita was piss poor. The first left hook was not that hard and Salita dropped like a sack of potatoes.Until we see Khan fight a decent fighter how good he is is pure speculation. With Frank Warren managing his affairs I don't see him in any tough fights soon.
I still think amir is vulnerable against a puncher and could be taken out, but the frame for that kind of loss gets smaller and smaller every time he wins, and with every training camp. He is getting more confident and his defense and general technique is just getting better. ATG status is a pretty small special group in the whole grand scheme of things, I think he can be a HOF'er definitely. I doubt he can reach ATG status, to reach that level you need to have the skillset, talent, and a bunch of intangibles, and I think its the latter where khan is a little short.
He has the talent and ability, sp I see no reason why not. If he sticks to his game plan, and doesn't get hit who could beat him? he is the fastest fighter in boxing and now he has power.Still, it would be nice to see if he can take a punch now.
Yes at the moment i think only pacman cotto and pbf could beat him. hes only 22 if he can keep developing, not be too hasty on taking on the best then when hes 27/28 he'll be an ATG.
I don't see why not, but I still think it's abit too early to tell.
It'd be good to evaluate Khan against top tier opposition in his U.S. debut.. Maidana vs Khan could be next, on the Mayweather vs Pacquiao undercard maybe.
