I'd be tempted to put him in with that performance. I mean, no disrespect to Abraham but Taylor was at the end of the road before he beat him. Other guys I have in the bottom half are Bradley and Dawson. They have solid resumes, but they are still making their bones.
Stop with what? I thought it was a great performance. He did everything he wanted to do, all the while completely stopping Kessler from doing anything of note. He damn near pitched a shut out.
If you disagree then fine no ill feelings.
I disagree with this part. He DID pitch a shut out.
if Bradley gets by Peterson, he should get some mild Pound For Pound consideration
Witter, Holt and Peterson would be three solid names he's beaten.
as for Ward .... I'd like to see how he finishes this Tourney, because he's probably got the easiest opponent in the next round
he just has to make it past round 6 and Taylor will slow down from their
S.S.D.F
(same s*it different fight)

no, let's wait for him to win the tourney
My P4P top ten:
Manny Pacquiao
Paul Williams (He's been more active than Hopkins and Shane)
Shane Mosley
Bernard Hopkins
Floyd Mayweather
JMM
Roman Gonzalez
Timothy Bradley
Chad Dawson
Andre Ward
I'd drop Gonzalez, Ward, and Bradley.
I'd look at Hasegawa, Abraham, and Calderon.
There's others too.
Boxingscene P4P list, this is from before the Pacquiao fight so Cotto will probably get moved out and Ward put in.
1) Manny Pacquiao
2) Floyd Mayweather
3) Bernard Hopkins
4) Shane Mosley
5) Paul Williams
6) Chad Dawson
7) Miguel Cotto
8) Juan Manuel Marquez
9) Ivan Calderon
10) Hozumi Hasegawa
I doubt it, but anything is possible.
I believe they had Abraham on the outside looking in, so he may get it.
I've already got Dawson in the top ten P4P. I'm just saying that Ward maybe should be ranked at #10 off that performance.
Ward's resume isn't good as Dawson's yet.

I ain't got a problem with your opinion mate but an awful lot of people on here are saying Kessler was 'Hype' and saying stuff like, 'I told you Kessler was overrated'.
So in hindsight, Kessler was overrated from the start so this wasn't a great win for Kessler? If so, how does this win or performance make it a P4P performance or P4P in fact.
People on here think they can have shit both ways on but they can't. Sorry.
Gotcha I said it was a pound for pound type of performance. In the sense that he dominated a really good fighter. I don't know if he's pound for pound. If he wins the tourney then yes certainly he would be.
As far as the Kessler thing goes I thought he was going to win tonight. And I do think that he's a very good fighter.
No he needs more fights. I have Williams, Dawson and Abraham in the bottom tier, and Ward isnt close to bumping any of those fighters out.
The only thing that Abraham has done is beat Taylor. I'd have him in the top twenty right now. But top ten? Can't do it yet.
Dawson has disappointed me somewhat. His defense did not improve and he lacks the killer instinct. He had an opportunity vs Johnson to made up the non spectacular performance and he failed it. He got hit way too much too. Calzaghe actually made a mistake by not fighting him.
Why? Because he would've beaten him? I agree.

I'm kind of against putting Cruiserweights in the top P4P ten because then if you do they may go on to get knocked out by a mediocre Heavyweight. Same reason why I personally never ranked Haye as top ten P4P.

Too early to say. Lets see how he handles himself vs Froch first. Just because i want to see him test his endurance after he tests his KO power vs Taylor :boxing:
