Don't know why we're arguing about this... Yeah aj played some mouthpiece tricks. But anytime a boxer does that they're clutching at straws.
Even if ref let him back in ruiz would've knocked him down or out. Stoppage was fair.
If anything Canelo was on Peds in the first fight before he got caught.
He was ripped as **** in the first fight and he looked like a different person the other night.
Don't forget fernando vargas. Peds don't mean stamina, if anything they've shown to take away stamina.
agreed. I was shocked how small he looked. He looked like my stray cat when I first took him in, with a big head and a little body
English boxing fans are ****ed in general. We'll pay for Joshua fighting a Takam or better yet, Whyte the bum fighting another bum and justify it with "it's only 20 quid though". But when it comes down to a bout between two of the premier middleweights in the world, I've been seeing all over social media no one wants to pay
LOL You don't understand the set up. . . We have Sky Sports. If you have Sky Sports, then you can purchase a Joshua fight on Sky Sports box office. . . . Most people have Sky Sports.
BT Sports is a separate subscription on top of Sky Sports. but it's only like 2 channels.
Not everyone is willing to subscribe to BT Sports aswell as Sky Sports.
It does host NBA and UFC. . . The problem is BT Sports haven't made this box office event available for people who aren't already subscribed to BT Sports. I don't have BT Sports. But I would purchase this event as a one off if it was available to do so
I think Wlad ruined him - he took some devastating big hammer rights in that fight.
Watching the Usyk fight again - I think Wlad gave Usyk the blueprint in Ukraine on how to feint and land that straight punch.
Wlad caught AJ all night with that punch by setting it up with feints and lazy jab. And Usyk did the same all night yesterday.
The only difference is that Wlad did it in the orthodox stance with his right whilst Usyk did it in the southpaw stance with his left.
yeah true, Not saying there isn't truth in what you're saying, he still got the result in that fight though so it looked like he could move on. Ruiz though, you don't come back from that kind of loss. And every time he gets hit now he won't even counter because he's scared of getting caught. He just shells up and hopes for the best. terrible defence
Easily 30 yr old canelo too big too strong And too powerful.
floyd got canelo green and at the right time. I think we all know floyd would have never faced him prime for prime.
How would he fight him prime for prime when he was already 36 years old when Nelo was apparently still green??
I'll probably end up buying it, just because it'll be funny. It'll be cheaper here though (uk) than us, no way would i be spending 40+ dollars on a ppv.
Rogan been talking about Floyd's brittle hands for the longest time in the build up, he knows he got it wrong. Referred to Conor's left hand as "Dynamite"
I think it's a bit of both. He is older, less elusive, less reaction time speed. Even off on his timing. But he fought that style too as it was also the best game plan to back conor up and keep him moving backwards.
There's a huge difference between having no power and not punching with power. Conor clearly has power, but was throwing arm punches. Conor's problem was that he was punching like a street fighter, chin up, head tilted back, throwing a punch while also leaning back. That is a street fight punch. He has power but was not throwing with the technique one has to use to throw a hard punch.
Paulie Malignaggi has no power. He threw with great technique but couldn't really hurt many opponents.
He wasn't even throwing arm punches at some point, literally tapping him on the head, and no the kind of tapping you see Lomchenko do to open up a power shot
Man Floyd neutralised Conor's power by doing nothing but walking forward in the highguard, and turning his back in the clinch so he didn't have to work. He didn't even use a jab.
That's how in-effective Conor was. People can forward about this moral victory malarkey.
WTF?? So you watched Floyd fight, but not because you wanted to, but because you went to someone's house and they would order it for you to watch even though you didn't want to and the fights are somewhat costly.
You were just a helpless victim forced to watch. GTFOH. You watched because no matter how much you post about Floyd, you desperately wanted to see him lose. Just admit it and move on.
Hahahaha, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Only every occasion
