... something he has NEVER done in his (full) 49 previous fights, only when he knew his opponent was out on his feet
Of course he would get hit more going for the KO so wildly and consistantly, after round 3
he obviously didnt train like he usually would, going to his stripclub everyday for the week before his fight
post-fight he said he hadnt even sparred for this fight in oder to save his hands, so he could land harder punches in the fight, for the KO
So when people say floyd is shot, mcgregor landed more than canelo did"
obviously! floyd didnt fight so offensively in this fight, of course he didnt, canelo is a very skilled poweful, BOXER!
but why when other fighters come forward and get hit, yall said that fighter has no defense. but when floyd does the same, yall make excuses for him. so just because he's coming forward he doesnt have any defense anymore?
No excuses, he said he would make it entertaining, he said he was going forward & he ask Conor if he can take what he can give ALL BEFORE the FIGHT....that's exactly what happened. Stop trying to find a way to discredit Floyd....Peace.
to laugh at the back and forth excuses. make up yall minds LOL!
one minute, its he's 40, the next minute, its, he fought that way on purpose.
Again, it was a case of both of those things happening.
It's not one or the other.
I think it's a bit of both. He is older, less elusive, less reaction time speed. Even off on his timing. But he fought that style too as it was also the best game plan to back conor up and keep him moving backwards.
It's both. Floyd is old. He's 40. Don't kid yourself. You're out of your physical prime at 30. By the time you're 40, you've diminished. That's everybody. He did also try for the ko. That much is obvious.
This is my take too. Floyd was honest with himself in camp and developed a strategy based on what he could still do. He was throwing bombs near the end, he missed a ton of them, but had Conor reeling. And Conor was tired sure, but he was also close to being KOed, he was getting rocked.
Exactly. There's only so much you can do when you have been out of the ring/training for nearly two years.
Floyd's legs are gone, full stop; he showed signs of this in the Berto fight, but the two years off and his performance on Saturday made that absolutely clear.
Once he and his camp realized what he was still working with (all-time great boxing brain, severely underrated toughness, top-level skill on the inside, that crisp lead right hand, stamina for days), the gameplan changed. You add the hand issue that Floyd apparently picked up halfway through camp, and you end up with the fight that Floyd fought.
Eliminate the hand issue and Floyd likely has the same fight, though he turns it up earlier and likely pushes up the stoppage decision to the 8th round

Floyd fans cant make up their minds.
One group is saying floyd fought like that on purpose.
The other group is saying floyd is 40 and has been inactive for 800 days.
Lol
Or maybe it's a case of both of those things happening?
What's your goal here? Highest amount of retarded posts in one week?
but why when other fighters come forward and get hit, yall said that fighter has no defense. but when floyd does the same, yall make excuses for him. so just because he's coming forward he doesnt have any defense anymore?
lol I don't think he has an answer to that, but they'll come up with their go to excuse when they get stumped. Their default excuse that they have formulated is Floyd is 40 lololololololol
Isn't a 80 year old shaolin master monk always wins against a novice? A master doesn't unlearn what he has learned. Getting hit like that, tells me Floyd has bad offensive defense. That's not a master. That's a walking target lmao
now floyd fans is saying floyd got hit more because he fought different and was going for the ko BUT when it's someone else doing the same thing, they call that fighter no defense......
Floyd told you he was coming forward before the fight....what part of that don't you understand??
Mcgregor was throwing pitty pat shots after like the 5th round. He wasn't bothered by getting hit by any of those shots. The easiest match Mayweather has probably had since his pro debut.
UH...HE Is 40! Yes he is fuking OLD especially for a BOXER! Looks great for his age though, walked forward for 9 almost 10 Rounds and didn't slow down at all. No shame in being the Old Man now especially when sadly his work ethnic and condition is better than most of these 20 Something's year old fighters who are missing weight and losing titles on the scale and fans want to make excuse for them. While Mayweather at 40 trains like he is still pursing Super Stardom and a Big Payday :dunno:
definitely trained harder than tank davis :lol1:
