I think it is very much worse. He was out cold for a long time when Canelo knocked him out and that might have made it worse. He was able to survive with Maidana who hit him much harder than Vargas did. Khan looked fat, soft and flabby for Vargas. How hard did he train? Is his heart in boxing or does he just want a big check or two before he retires? Nelo.might have made it worse you could say. But Nel o hit Khan with more than Prescott did. So Khan chin was already weak way back when fighting presscott.i

He's a really talented guy but yea, that chin got real shaky. I think Khan missed a lot of big opportunities (many because certain guys avoided him) but that's how she goes. Can't say he wasn't responsible for most of it. Fighting Canelo pretty much shortened his career overnight. Chris Algeri was landing the very same shot i.e Overhand right on Khan and Khan was on his wobbly legs everytime he hit him with that. He was only wobbled once in that fight In this fight he wobbled no matter what punch Vargas landed, i counted 3 wobbles and that is not including the knock down Canelo finished whatever was left of Khans punch resistance. The shot that was more worrying wasn't the one putting Khan down, it was the right hand that clipped his chin and Khan's legs went funny. That wasn't even a big shot, Vargas was over reaching and Khan moving back and it still had a big effect. I'm not sure why people call Khan "glass chin"? Isn't that suppose to be used when a fighter gets knocked out often? Khan gets dropped but he doesn't get put to sleep.Khan has a better chin than bums who get knocked out all the time. For a boxer who claims he can beat any welterweight and wants to compete at the top level his chin is GLASS. When today's Khan fights any top welterweight who can punch he is expected to lose by KO. Hell it's damn near a certainty that he loses by KO.

Khan is a 5 round fighter. If the match is 5 rounds or below then Khan stays undefeated. Khan can't fight for all 12 rounds without getting caught.BS! A mediocre cherry pick 30 to 1 underdog Vargas caught him very early and damn near knocked him out. Spence or Crawford would only need a round or two to knock out today's Khan.

Every clean shot Vargas landed wobbled Khan, his punch resistance was always bad, but now it is non-existant Vargas is an average puncher and Khan made him look like Maidana I was watching back this Canelo fight and Canelo landed on Khan clean a number of times and Khan did not wobble until he was rendered unconscious. He fought well in this fight, but now with Goosen is looks like a total mess of a fighter. I think he should be forced to retire because brain injuries are no joke. Everyone wants to see Khan fight Brook? Most probably want Khan to die in the ring or end up like Gerald McClellan.
