I really dislike his fighting style. In my opinion I think most of his punches are illegal. They are semi open handed slaps, thus the reason for his so called tremendous hand speed. After he touched up Lacy I respected him because Lacy was calling him out, but now I don't because I don't think you can call yourself great when you finish your career by beating Manfredo (who), Old Ass Hopkins (which should have been a draw), Retarded Roy Jones (who is pretty old as far as his boxing reflexes), Kessler (who looked good for a minute, but couldn't stop teh onslaugth of illegal slaps) and refuse to fight Dawson or Pavlik, who he knows are young, strong and skilled enough to knock his ass out... Give the fans what we want hatton did. Everyone knew once hatton fought a real live oppenent what would happen and it did. Just like Joe knows what will happen if he fight one of these young guns. I know Kessler, Manfredo and Lacy were young, but they aren't on the level of Dawson or pose as much of a threat as Pavlik...
Fight Fans like fights... Boxing Matches, MMA matches, street fights, (kick boxing is kind of wak though) Thai boxing...If it involves someone getting punched in the face I'm down with it... Although I would like to see that armbars, leg locks removed from MMA.. I don't see any sport in breaking your oppenets arm, or dislocated their knee or elbow on purpose... MMA should be nothing but knockouts and choke outs... But they should work together instead of bash each other, but that will never work mainly due to the UFC...How many people realize that the UFC = a promotion and not the entire sport of MMA. If we are to talk boxing, I will say this, Cotto has a very high probability of not making out of the first round.
