Is it a good or bad sign that Cotto got a bunch of tats after losing?

If he was upset about his loss to Margarito, Im sure hes over that now. Margarito is a cheater. Cotto would have won that fight if Margarito didnt put that plaster in his gloves.

my personal veiw is that the pressure of being a unbeaten fighter at that level must be overwelming, and since the loss he might feel a lot of that pressure is gone and might feel more free to express himself and to be himself. just a thought I was thinking along those lines. I'm going to reserve my judgement until after he fights. If he looks focused, I would say the tattoos don't mean anything but if he falls apart out there in a fight he should win, I might be inclined to think losing his 0 made him wig out a bit.

U cant even get a tat nowadays without feeling the backlash of the boxingscene residents hehe He should find out what was in margs wraps and get an artist to tattoo up a design for him

I don't think it is neither good or bad... the guy fancied getting a few tattoos he likes that he feels will look good on him, that has nothing to do with his previous fight or confidence or anything. Well that's my opinion anyway... :)

truly a shit post. all i'm trying to say is that cotto needs to prove his bad asssness in the ring and not with tattoos. if he wanted tattoos the whole time, why not get them when he won tough fight?

It may be a bad sign for his future opponents... I seen cotto going away from the original cotto in the fights leading up to Margarito. He used to express himself through his hairstyles, but he stopped doing that, so now he is getting tatted up and ready for War. He was becoming a boxer, but now he is returning back to warrior mode...
