Cotto will be able to bounce back, he took a beating but he gave one too. It was a great fight and Cotto will probably take on someone like maybe Kermit Cintron or Luis Collazo and then get back to a possible rematch against Margarito or Paul Williams. He will be back, no way he goes down the path of Fernando Vargas. That's ridiculous.
from what I've seen from him, he's more hype than anything. not a bad boxer, but definitely don't see him in the top 10. I see him maybe top 20. They are moving him slowly and now faces Grady Brewer in the upcoming week which he should win by decision. Could be good but we'll see. Guillermo Rigondeux is the the truth though and everyone should follow him.
Well he was Olympic Champion and a lot of these Cuban boxers, aren't able to leave until they put the guard down of Cuba's government officials. Guillermo Rigondeux is another one who is a monster but he's not very young, but is probably one of the greatest Cuban amateur boxers ever.
thats the type of crap, that I dont understand. You are a world class fighter and you surround yourself in an environment that is going to get you touched. Regardless of the amount of money you have, you can still be caught and for 200 bucks? Judah you a retard. Move the fuck out of the hood and get yourself in the right state of mind.
Putting the Ghost again Joe C would be a great fight, I would put my money on Pavlik. He won my support after proving me wrong against Miranda and Taylor twice. Against Roy Jones, it would be an interesting fight but wouldn't do much for Joe C's legacy. I would love to see him fight Pavlik.
honestly, i think this is the stigma that Gamboa will be stuck with for most of his career. Gamboa will be fine, he'll put the hands up when his team feels it necessary. Which at the pace, his career is going will be soon.
This was an amazing documentary, especially speaking as a Cuban. I think that they are viewed as a traitor to people who have been brainwashed by the people who are Fidelistas but most of them want to provide for their families. Great documentary again
definitely will screw up a bunch of things. don't see it happening at all but it would fuck up a bunch of things. and mayweather will be laughing it up
Gonna be an amazing fight! My mind tells me to pick Mosley cause he's too tall, too fast but I'm going with my heart and picking Cotto! Think this is going to be a great fight and Cotto going to finish him in the late rounds with a beautiful body punch.
Cotto KO in 8th.
i hope he ties them tight so no one steals them when he's laying there knocked out cold on the canvas. it is new york after all.
lol! Damn that shit caught me offguard! Almost fell off my chair
I guess that makes it a little bit better but I don't understand why the boxer himself wouldn't want to see Mosley's fighting tactics. I'm going for Cotto but it shows a little bit of arrogance by him not seeing the fights. In My opinion of course
wow, 2008 is sounding like a wonderful year for boxing. Can't wait to see the end of this year but Cotto-Mayweather or Cotto-DLH sounds amazing. Kessler-Bute is another match, I'd like to see. Can't wait for 08!
Indeed, if anybody has any of his fights, would love to see it. especially the clottey fight.
Kid looks like someone to keep their eye to surprise a lot of people in 08 and 09.
would be an interesting fight, a tough test for Kessler's especially after his defeat. I'd see Kessler winning this fight with his more accurate punches.
I think Povetkin has this fight won like others are saying with a decision. I'm not really sure about a KO but this is going to be a great fight to watch.
08 may be a big year for a lot of boxers, I'd like to see Andre Berto, Peterson brothers and Mora fight some serious fighters. I think it's also going to be a big year for Cotto after he defeats Mosley, he'll look in the way of Mayweather. Paul Williams is another one that will blow fans away. For Heavyweights, I'd like to Chris Arreolla fight some a big name.
I gotta see that Reid-Ottke fight, if anyone has it please upload. Robberies I could think of are Lewis-Holyfield I, Whitaker-Chavez. Sweet Pea had that shit, I was 8 when that fight happened and still remember asking how the hell did Chavez win. Hagler-Leonard, I think Hagler won but I don't know if its the biggest robbery ever.
I'm 22 years old and I've been watching boxing since I was probably 7. I have seen a bunch of fighters and I really couldn't put down to 1. So here's 5.
Shane Mosley
Oscar De La Hoya
Julio Cesar Chavez
Pernell Whitaker
Lennox Lewis
Roy Jones Jr.
Floyd Mayweather
Bernard Hopkins
Manny Pacquaio
Felix Trinidad
