To face Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto will enter the ring in GOLDEN SHOES-- a pair whose soles are made of a special Michelin rubber compound that will reportedly help prevent him from slipping on the advertising logo on the ring's canvass floor. It will also reportedly help him achieve a firmer foothold as he delivers his power punches.

yeah when i first saw them i said instead of gold....RED!!!!
RED?? No thats shit. Black/White would be best but i like gold also but he should wear a golden shorts then.
yeah cotto was the aggresor early on who was the aggresor later on? that would be mosley but then all of a sudden those rounds dont count.
Cotto would also win some late rounds man. I scored it 115-113 for Cotto.
He just landed the cleaner punches. Mosley also clinched like crazy later on. He was gassed out also.
you do that with the money i have(zero) ill buy some glasses for the judges so they can actually see
That's what happens when you bet against a young and hungry fighter.
Just like Cotto said "Its my time"
The judges had glasses. Cotto was the aggressor early on and landed the cleaner shots. Watch the fight again man! You will probaly cure yourself from this nonsense you're speaking.
Complain all you want.
While you do that. Cotto is on his way to the bank to invest his money.
And me? With the money I won.. Im about to go shopping!
BALLIN!!
Have a nice day ;)
Shit.. Im about to cop them shoes Cotto were wearing.
cotto wanted to get some running in over the final 5 rounds so they are probably pretty comfortable
Isn't that what people call a boxing lesson?
If im right De La Hoya did the same shit (but threw fewer punches) and people thought he should have won.
Cotto was throwing punches.
Just go to sleep already. Im done quoting your posts. You're an angry Mosley fan at the moment.
Everyone:
Did the golden high-tech shoes give Cotto the edge or not?
Recalling the slip that led the ref to stop the action to have the canvass wiped, does that slip mean the shoes did not work as it was designed to do? Or, the shoes worked and it was what saved Cotto...
Or, was it that the shoes were not really tested at all because Mosley landed a punch that the ref missed? So, the slip or near-slip was not either of those at all?
Your thoughts...
Note: (Mosley slipped too in about the same area, but his was worse...?)
i hope he ties them tight so no one steals them when he's laying there knocked out cold on the canvas. it is new york after all.
lol! Damn that shit caught me offguard! Almost fell off my chair
