No Khan didnt help himself.
I was really hoping he got his dream fight but oh well. Keep winning and worry about own career/legacy now
From the outside looking in you're right but I can't help but feel that Haymon had convinced Khan that he could get the Mayweather fight knowing full well that he wouldn't
They're not though, with his power Lemieux has good chance of taking Golovkin out. It's a dangerous fight.
I don't think so :lol1:
Just look at the odds for this fight
That being said, Mayweather vs Berto is much more shameful in just about every way
I wouldn't expect a fanboy to care. Why do a poll in the first place, just to fight the loser of the poll? If it smells like a duck and it looks like a duck, it's a duck.

I think Porter beats this version of Maidana by outworking him down the stretch. Though I would favour the Maidana that fought Floyd to do the job.

This list shows how pathetic MW has been.
6 fights @MW, with a record of 3-2-1. His only notable victory @MW is Tito, a guy who only had 5 bouts @MW.
^^^^ This exactly
Nothing was answered.
The best female tennis player, one of the greatest, playing a retired, washed up no name 45 year old male tennis player, who was never great. Doesn't mean shlt.
Serena Williams couldn't win a single set, against any professional male player that is ranked, and the rankings consist of 1000 players.
Every single one would embarrass her. She wouldn't win one game against a top player. Tons of amateur club players would kick her ass too.
I think most professional boxers Roussey's size would probably beat her in a UFC fight. She wouldn't be strong enough to make her wrestling skills matter. Give those guys a month or two of ground game training and they'd beat the shlt out of her easy.

To me Garcia has always been an overachiever so its no surprise to me that hes had a few sub par performances
What impresses me is that he keeps winning.
I think he gets entirely too much criticism
If boxing was a higher profile sport, the shadiness would have been exposed a long time ago. It is, as things stand, in a position where reputable journalist with resources don't care about it.
You really think so?
I have trouble believing that most NFL guys aren't on something.
I think if boxing was a higher profile sport, the shadiness would become more standardized and better hidden.
That chump cheated with something taped to his glove when he scrapped Lucas' eye. Then he hit him low about 5 times and shoved him to the canvas to get Lucas down and they called it a kd instead of a push.
That's why Danny didn't want any parts of a rematch, he knew his first win was bogus and he'd get properly trashed in the rematch.
:lol1:
If the Haymon rumor is true then Khan needs to go sign with Top Rank and engineer a fight with Manny. They also have Bradley.
Although I really wanna see Khan-Gacia II in fall.
Yeah
He should leave Haymon, then get the Bradley fight
That would be great
With all his resources this guy never seems to know anything.
Never believe him
I think this fight was a willful spit in the face of the fans by Mayweather
That being said, you're right
Rafael says a lot of things and many times don't pan out or are based on almost nothing
I prefer that Khan sit out and get a Pacquiao fight than facing old Mosley to be honest.
That fight is good for both Pacquiao and Khan.
If Khan wins then it catapults his career to new heights.
For Pacquiao, this is a winnable fight against a quality fighter to put life back into his career.
Common opponents Demarcus Corley and Devon Alexander both said Matthysse hit harder... Just saying lol:boxing::wave:
Maidana is bigger I bet he hits harder at 147
Ehh who cares?
Most of them use something anyway?
I mean its almost certain that Pacquiao was on something in his prime but that doesn't take away from his accomplishments. Hes still the man and I always thought that Mayweather used the drug testing as an excuses to duck prime Pacquiao.
Vast majority of these guys use so it doesn't matter to me
This is fine by me. I was wondering what was up with the Provodnikov fight. Its fairly high risk with little to no reward.
I want to see Peterson or Garcia rematch or Thurman/Porter
