Agreed!!
Once Floyd adopted the "Money" moniker, his fights changed and his attitude towards boxing and fights themselves changed. He will always be remembered as a supreme talent and consistent gym-rat with an extreme work ethic. But he stopped going all out during fights and accepted a "win is a win" attitude as opposed to dominating each and every one of his opponents, which he could have done easily.
Still, Floyd is one of the ATG's but he could have dominated boxing and his opponents like no other, if only he had remained in "Pretty Boy" mode.
Lol you guys crack me up. You're right, he just didn't feel like it.
Hatton. That was the last time Floyd was in "Pretty Boy" mode. He reverted back to it for the Ortiz fight but as he got older he threw less combos, wasn't as aggressive and boxed a lot more. His ability to change styles as he aged is Jordan-esque.
wlad was able to change styles and dominate even more than floyd so i guess he's better? changing into a clinch style sure is greatness

King of all cherry picking f@ggots, least entertaining fighter for a long long time.
I find it amazing that Floyd haters are ALWAYS the first to post in any thread about him. You really love him underneath it all. Your world revolves around him.

His hands couldnt handle the pretty boy mode.
He's had a phenomenal career. I will miss what he was able to pull off in the ring, more so when he was in his prime.

Solid. It started out good and then not so much. The best highlights of Floyd was the career one by GP, everything else looks bland in comparison. And that video HBO put together, showing his early years, was pretty good too.
In Merchant's defense, I don't think he knew Floyd would one day fight Oscar, where a win would help elevate his career. He did call him a draw nonetheless.
No matter how much I dislike the guy his record is good and his performances are immaculate, EVERY time.
Yeah he is a great fighter obviously but he stalled and retired and stalled and *****ed and moaned and ducked and dived and waited and waited etc etc etc
He ain't deserving of the praise he is getting. If he fought the guys he did when they were in their primes and won, he would be top 3 ever. But he didnt. And he flat out ducked a load of great fighters too.
