Amir Khan will beat Kell Brook if the pair meet next year, says former world champion Shawn Porter, who plans to take on the winner.
Khan (31-3-KO19) has long been embroiled in a war of words with unbeaten IBF welterweight champion Brook, who won his world title by beating Porter via majority decision a year ago in Carson, California.
The American bounced back by stopping Erick Bone before an impressive points victory over three-weight world champion Adrien Broner in June, and is hopeful of securing a shot at the winner of the potential Brook v Khan showdown.
While Sky Sports pundit Carl Froch tipped Brook to beat his domestic rival, Porter took a different stance.
The 27-year-old told behindthegloves.com: "It doesn't matter who it is, I'll always go with them over Kell Brook. Normally I put my biased opinion aside but with him, I'm not. I think Khan beats him.
"It'd be a good fight. If I was guaranteed the winner I'd go over there, show my face at ringside and be ready to take care of the winner."
"Personally I'll consider a fight with anyone in the top five. If I said top 10 then that leaves too many holes and too many names so I'm saying the top five. That's where the best competition and the biggest fights are.
"It's where I feel I belong. Fighting anyone in the top five. That includes Amir Khan, Keith Thurman, Timothy Bradley, Ruslan Provodnikov and Marcos Maidana, even though he hasn't fought in a year. This 147lbs division is stacked.
"The top three at 147 is Floyd Mayweather, Porter and Thurman. the top three is Thurman, Khan and maybe Danny Garcia. I know he's moving up but he mentioned my name this weekend so he caught my attention."

- Porter is putting himself in the top 3, but not Brook who beat him without taking a shot to the face the whole night?
Also, Provodnikov a top 5 Welterweight? He's never even recorded a win at the weight. Looks like Porter is still dizzy from the counter right chocolate brownies he was tasting all night against Brook :lol1:
Can't wait for the rematch. I met Shawn Porter a few weeks before the fight and was disappointed with the outcome.
Does he want it? I don't think so.
He says he does, but he's acting like that fight didn't happen after talking as if Brook was just a "stay-busy" fight in the build up.
Brook would likely beat him up and stop him in the rematch in Sheffield.
You post a thousand times a day, I doubt that. You have a man crush on Brook and you are sounding silly these days.
BTW how those negotiations with Brook are going? They are no different than team Khan just to name drop out there to promote themselves and appear that they are fighting at a different level.
They always blame the other team for failed negotiations when they actually low ball them or for the Rios fight pick his gear
Well this wasn't hard to find :lol1:
I predict Brook getting injured during training.
If Paulie would had won the Porter fight you would already had heard Brook trying to make the fight.
I have a near photographic memory, kid. I know for a fact you specifically kept saying that Brook would pull out of the fight.

You wear it as a badge of honor for Brook. "he fought through challengers ranked by IBF wah wah wah". Anyways....
-Senchenko was stopped by Paulie Malignaggi
-I'm not even gonna bother with Matthew.
Brook won't be needing a dental appointment soon unless he spars without a mouth piece and hurt himself because your tongue is so far up his bum it can practically clean the plaque off his teeth.
His team did:

One minor correction. The bout was initially set at 150, but Jones did want 147. Anyways then later on they moved to 152. Those 2 pounds were brought in while they were training for the fight.
Of course it wasn't an advantage. Duhhhh. It wasn't as if Kell scraped a MD in his home city the first time around.
Then give me an example of when I've done that. Just tell me when I've ever bigged up any of those fights once.
Yes he was stopped on cuts that one time. His only defeat. Did anyone say Senchenko was a world beater? No.
OMG 2 lbs - What a freaking robbery! So Carson jones didn't have to make 150 he had the comfort of making 152 what a bunch of cowboys.
Brag about it? :lol1: How and when?
Yeah they were all pretty bad. Have I ever said otherwise? No. I have never claimed anything positive about any of those guys other than Hatton and Senchenko are made out to be worse than they were because of the ease with which Brook handled them. Hatton gave Canelo a better fight than he gave Brook for instance. Regardless, they are obviously limited.
I have never "bragged" about any of that.

Not really. For instance, he's a world champion. Khan isn't. He's looking for big fights - And the biggest is Khan. Unfortunately for us all Khan doesn't fancy it.
They've continuously said they are looking for other big names. Unfortunately, Thurman et al don't fancy coming to the UK in November which makes sense. But Brook is the champion, and they've got to deal with that.
Almost as big a Khanturd as you, eh?

Mate, you were trying to spin it as if Brook were gaining an advantage because of an extra 5 pounds when Jones is the one who's fought at 154 for multiple fights and recently at middleweight.
No, it was a lightmiddleweight bout as it was fought above 147. And it was a keep busy fight for both guys, nothing was on the line. Why would two big guys come in at 147 when it doesn't matter?
Lol, yeah because Khan was talking about going up to 147 every time he spoke, then did a catchweight fight. Obviously not the same scenario at all.
Did Jones even complain about the extra pounds or are you just complaining on his behalf?

Kell Brook is being protected by Eddie Hearn until they get the Khan fight...even the biggest khan hater, the people who hate khan so much that they will never catch a taxi or eat curry again, Yes, even they can see how obvious it is.
You brag about Brook's mandatory status with IBF. He fought through those challengers that IBF ranked. Why brag about that when you clearly state rankings don't mean sh1t for alphabet bodies? I mean they were sh1t challengers then right? That's my point.

Bro, Brook's entire career has been based on cashing out on a Khan bout.
Khan says fight Matthew, he does, tells him to win a title he does, tells him to fight World level name, he is now in the process. Damn, Brook is a bigger Khantard than BeReal TV guy or anyone on NSB.

Why have weight classes at all? :dead:
It was a WW bout. Yet Team Brook got them to add pounds few weeks before. I'm sure the other way would've been no fight at all right? Why does it matter if it was a non-title bout?
We all know how much sh1t Khan got for Diaz C.W and at least it was contracted.
Claiming imaginary points is a new Kell-end tactic to maintain some sort of dominance in the convo.

Both Collazo and Barrera were tune ups and not wins to brag about. I can't brag about Marco's resume given the point he fought Khan.
In both cases their rankings with alphabet orgs is "supplementary" not that it makes them great fights.
Well, you brought it up? Jones had fought at light middleweight multiple times and had knocked out people at light middleweight BEFORE he fought Brook, has fought there since and recently fought at middleweight. Yet now you're trying to tell me it was an advantage to Brook :lol1: Jesus Christ almighty, you're on a slippery slope there.
It was a 10 round non-title fight. Why should two big welterweights make 147?

That was obvious to anyone but Box-Office.
Now he's trying to claim I have used alphabet rankings for the same purpose, yet won't give me an example of it.
:lol1: :lol1:

He's sinking fast, like the career of his hero.

Yeah because Collazo defintely wasn't a Top 10 WW at that point.
That was obvious to anyone but Box-Office.

:lol1: :lol1:
No, but he was a good WW debut fight.
Me personally, I don't care about rankings including Ring. I care of resumes.
The nature of the argument was something around the lines of Collazo coming off a decent win, both guys at crossroads and at the time was actually respected by the forum too, which LacedUp replied with he wasn't top 10 WW. I for one replied by saying he was WBA top 10, good enough. Then Laced Up: alphabet rankings don't mean anything. Of course IBF is an exception.
No you said he was a top 10 welterweight period. You didn't mention any alphabet ranking, stop playing dumb. I have never used the IBF rankings for anything other than explain to you that an IBF champion has to fight guys in that division unless an exception is made for a big fight or unification.
I have never said anything as retarded as Jo Jo Dan was #1 welterweight in the world, because of his ranking with IBF - Which is exactly what you did with Collazo.
I have explained this to you at least 10 times, yet it doesn't seem to get through.
That was Barrera with the WBO, you mug. :lol1:
Brook-Jones II was exactly 2 yrs ago, recently?
Anyways, they made him add pounds a few weeks before the fight. It was initially a WW fight. Pathetic!!!!
No it wasn't.

Nope, you made that up to save face
