It was just sparring.
I don't know too many guys who take a 10 count from body shots, but **** happens.
I heard GG missed with an overhand right, and the left hook of Hendrix dropped him like a habit. GG was in pain, but quickly recovered after about a minute.
GG is still a force. **** happens.
But if I were Stevens, you know where I'm going to attack GG at.
Lol you bumped this 2 year old thread just to say GGG is still a force and **** happens?
Come on Frank :slap:
Why are you so upset? Your favorite fighter won the fight of his life- you both just got the paydays of your life, and everything is good.
Why you hostile? Do you want Manny/Arum to just fall off of a cliff and pass away or something? Lol
Not that serious bro.
Loma's defense doesn't seem spectacular, he isn't there to hit, but he is hittable, so... How you know at this point that his chin is good enough to not get clipped by Walters?
But maybe I argue with the wrong person. I see you have Loma in your P4P top 10. Do you think he has a resume with you can claim he is top 10 P4P? C'mon...
And Wlad is the first? What... Mayeather's resume shits al over Wlad's.
Ugh. I hate posts like this. You clearly have an agenda.....
Lomachenko's defense doesn't seem spectacular? First of all he does have a good defense. I'm not going to even explain why.
Second of all....... What about Walter's? How his defense? Is it spectacular? Is Walter's chin good enough to get clipped by Lomachenko? You're so one-sided it's ridiculous.
OH and Lomachenko is hittable... Right. But Floyd got hit by Robert Guerrero multiple times..... Does his defense suck because he's hittable also? (keep in mind he is even a DEFENSIVE fighter)
Walters needs to get a fight with Gradovich. Small busy fighter and a title he could gain. Gradovich will be game. Russell would be good prep for Walters as well.
Honestly, I want these four champions to fight now.
Mares can be put in the mix surely, but Walters, Gradovich, Lomachenko, and Russell need to get it on!!
Agreed. Honestly I want Lomachenko-Walters NEXT. I hate when fights marinate. But this is actually for once a fight that some marination won't hurt. Neither guy has a lot of experience at the top/as champions.
Also if there was to be ONE more fight for each after June 13th before they fight- Gradovich-Walters and Loma-Veytveka would be perfect. Both Gradovich and Vey are top 10 Featherweights. It will also add to the marination in a good way because both guys would be beating top fighters in the division and it would create even more hype because outside of hardcore fans neither guy is very well-known.
A double-header with those two fights later this year on the same card/same venue would set up one of the best fights in boxing to kick off 2016, IMO.
Manny people say Lomachenko needs more experience before fighting Walters (and a fight against Veytveka for example, before Walters could only benefit him) BUT.... Is it possible that Walters needs some more experience before fighting Lomachenko?
He destroyed an old Vic, but it was an impressive victory to me because it came out of nowhere and Vic looked great against Donaire in his last fight up until the KO. The Donaire fight was impressive as well but both of these guys were damaged goods, to a certain extent, when Walters fought them.
Lomachenko hasn't fought anyone nearly as explosive and powerful as Walters in his pro career yet, but Walters hasn't fought anyone nearly as all-around talented with youth on their side- as Lomachenko.
In my personal opinion, I feel confident saying Lomachenko beats Walters comfortably at this point with the experience he gained since fighting the cheating Salido..... But my heart will be racing from the opening bell. Not sure I could watch it live, but have to wait for replay and see the result on boxingscene first, to spare my sympathetic nervous system for the duration of the fight
Huh? Floyd didn't know Pac was injured. Is this a joke or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
If anything it's Pacs fault. That's why he's being sued. He should of said something about his injury before the fight happened. Dude had a torn rotator cuff and didn't say sh*t. WTF does that have to do with Floyd
He probably will jump to 168 soon, mid/late next year.
I think the Ward fight is tough for him though, but that's it.
Yes, that's his toughest fight. He wouldn't fight Ward in his first fight at 168, obviously.
The ONLY fights worth GGG not moving up are Cotto and Canelo. But if they fight each other next, Golovkin is screwed.
His team NEEDS to make sure Cotto or Canelo happen next, at all costs. If it doesn't.... he has to move up to 168. IMO
Mayweather vs. Golovkin is NOT happening. Who's saying this fight will happen or should happen? Floyd is too small. This isn't even worthy of being talked about
Nobody wants to see Floyd get starched in 60 seconds by a 160lber
Call other fighters racist. With a avi pic of the most racist boxer lol
Angel Garcia isn't a fighter you quack.
And Sergey Kovalev isn't racist.
:dead:
Another "this was the best available opponent, we will continue to keep GGG busy and active until a big fight comes along" opponent.
Dudes management is poo poo. His career is getting wasted.
I predict Sergio Mora. Andre Ward would be perfect and I know GGG's team would make that fight but obviously Ward is content fighting random British milk delivery men like Paul Smith. If Ward wants a real challenge he would fight GGG or Kovalev but he's content just chillin', can't blame him tho I wouldn't want to get my first loss by KO either , this guy got knocked down by a journey man darnell boone lol .
Something tells me if Provodnikov works on his footwork, stamina, doesn't gas after a couple a rounds, punching power and improved accuracy and protects his face a little better so he doesn't cut as much and also improves his strength and overall speed Algieri won't get so lucky to get a W this time
If Andre Ward beats Kovalev and GGG, yes... he IS the GOAT. Across all divisions.
Kovalev is going to retire as the LHW GOAT (because in reality he will retire undefeated and beat Ward if they fought) So even if he just moves up and beats Kovalev.... He's the GOAT.
Won't happen. Ward will duck him, and if he ever grows a pair and stops fighting British plumbers, he gets brutalized and his career is over.
Robbery ? No
Close fights? Yea
Rewatch both fights, both fights were in Vegas and neither men had a shot to win based on the judges. The judges already had their scorecards filled out before the fights.
Khabib and Novikov both clearly won those fights, IMO. Khabib started off slow and wouldn't let his hands go but then won the rest of the fight easily.
Easy work Geale.
He's going to outbox and make Cotto look silly for 7 rounds before knocking Cotto out via pure boredom and catching him falling asleep
Nope. Golovkin has a granite chin.
If Froch and his non-existent defense ever fought Golovkin I truly believe his long-term, and possibly short-term health would be in jeopardy.
Why doesn't he call out Kovalev? He shouldn't be picking on smaller guys, should he? Or is there a double-standard here?
Anyway, easy work Golovkin. This glass-chinned Brit gets iced by the end of the 3rd round.
Golovkin puts Froch in a hospital and makes him piss blood for 2 weeks.
Froch has absolutely 0.00000000000000000.00001% chance of winning against Golovkin.
We're talking about a COMPLETELY overrated fighter with no skills besides being "tough" and having a good chin. He's slow as ****. He's a plodder. No footwork/flatfooted. Defense is non-existent, but he doesn't have the offense to back up his non-existent defense (which is why Ward exposed him) He has AVERAGE power, at BEST. He throws looping, wild and sloppy hooks.
Dude is basically the 175lb version of an everlast punching bag.
:lol1: honestly i'm far from a Froch fan but let's face it the only reason your dismissing him is because it's one of Ward's best wins who you have a clear agenda against.
Agenda against Ward? Why would I have an agenda against Ward? I NEED Ward for my heroes: Golovkin and Kovalev. GGG/Kovalev need the Ward fight. But Ward doesn't want it, not my fault.
Why would I have an agenda against Ward? Ward did what he had to do and outboxed the non-skilled caveman- Froch
Well, a bigger punching bag with arms might be the way to beat GGG. He showed he's vulnerable if someone stands there ground and fights. Froch will do that and he's bigger... you really don't know sh*t about boxing lol.
Think you're in the wrong forum bro. NFL forums on another web page ---->
Great fight...
It's no coincidence the sudden interest is after the Monroe fight. He as a brawling caveman obviously saw things he thinks he can exploit.
Before he was talking about 'swerving him like the plague'. In other words outboxing him but some people thought he meant ducking him. Now he's talking about backing him up, then again it's easier said than done.
Fixed that for you bruh.
