Froch makes more money fighting DeGale in the UK at a sold out Wembley, and gets a possible beating against GGG for less cash, so I have no idea why he'd fight GGG, even in the UK where they wouldn't sell out Wembley.
But it would be a great fight since neither guy backs down or is inclined to dance around for 12 rounds.
You don't think they could get 80,000 in Wembley for GGG?
Doubt it. Who knows how Golovkin will react when he gets cracked by a smw though.
I don't think he'd get bootayed because he's a sharp enough counter-puncher when he's pressed. You can catch him with flurries, but pushing him back and opening yourself up is a different matter.

The GGG fight is bigger anywhere. More money.
Maybe... I think the froch that thrashed bute could beat Golovkin, but not sure about the froch that was getting hurt and outboxed by groves.. Gennady is peaking as a fighter and froch is clearly on the downhill if not almost completely done at top level..
I favor Golovkin 60/40 but froch probably snaps GGG's stoppage streak..
I think froch/GGG is one of the best fights to make in boxing
Silver medalist at the Olympics, with an amature record of 345-5. Pro record or 33-0 with 30 kos,and his last 20 fights have come by way of KO or tko. Holds 2 belts in his weightclass, and the only guy who could give him any trouble is at 168,and #2 p4p in the sport (when active) and yet GGG has no boxing skills, and is a face first fighter? Are you a casual,or just stupid?
NO-BO-DY CA-RES about fucking amateur records, no matter how many times do you guys tell them :D Only thing matter among pros are pro resumes, period.
With that being said I don't think that the same will happen as on Froch-Bute but I see it as a 50-50 fight now. But the "Bute was always vulnerable and he looked bad, hypejob etc.." are mostly BS. After the smoke clears everybody is smart and knew it already before it happened (the exposing of Bute). Same would happen if Golovkin would be KO-d in a same fashion or would just beaten by Froch in a dominant way -->People would be smart afterwards and when the next monster would come they would compare him to Golovkin like "he is not like Golovkin, Golovkin always showed weaknesses, etc..."
So for me it's a 50-50
Bute hadn't fought an elite opponent prior to Froch. I think the same holds for GGG. In that sense the two are comparable although they may be different in other areas.
The biggest differences I see are that Bute benefited from the best fighters at 168 being tied up in a tourney with each other for several years and was saved from an embarrassing KO loss to the extremely limited Andrade by a shameful ref. He also wasn't on anything approaching a 20 KO streak. There was still a lot of rather unwarranted hype surrounding Bute at the time he fought Froch though.
Bute was unproven, a bum pretty much.
So no.
The Bute win wasn't that impressive, really.

Absolutely! I saw his fight against Willie Munroe Jr.(somebody that your stupid ass probably thought was a #1 contender at middleweight). His boxing skills are limited! The only guys who are capable of beating him are two guys moving up from lower weight classes (Cotto and Alvarez and guys at 168 pounds.
He is only the #2 P4P fighter in the minds of nuthuggers like you. As far as being a casual fan, I was watching boxing before your stupid ass even learned how to read or write. The fact that you are impressed by a guy who is 33-0 with 30 of those victories coming against journeymen and taxi drivers tells me that you are the one who DKSAB.
B*tch please,go crawl back under that rock you came from, and come back when you can actually discuss boxing with a knowledgable opinion. You think Cotto and canelo beat GGG,and have the nerve to call me a casual? The only one that can give GGG a run for his money south of 175,not named Andre ward is froch. Anyone else gets take out before the 12th. I'm finished dealing with trash like you,so feel free to go b*tch and cry on another thread.

No he can't. GGG already "Buted" Bute long before Froch did. It will be a war, if Froch's chin holds up it will be a grueling war and who knows what happens in the late rounds, Froch might hit GGG with a huge shot.
vastly better MATCHED....Froch can BUTE him...Froch drags everybody into the trenches except for Ward...SOG is a young oldschool fighter with a few tricks....but whoever fights Froch gets dragged into the trenches and I have never seen GGG in a dog fight especially against a pitbull like Froch....it's VERY possible Froch turns it into a tough guy contest and gets the same result he got against Bute...Froch has been described by some as a limited slugger...GTFOH...Froch starts slow but finishes strong...GGG aint KOing Froch so get that outta ya'll minds...Froch is a BEAST...I'd rather he fight Krusher because I see him bullying the ish outta GGG
Golovkin can do some of the things Ward did to Beat Froch. Froch can't really Get off on the inside, and Golovkin has shown he will often get inside of punches and from there Froch is very open to hooks inside as he likes to bring his punches from the floor.
Didn't he lose to dirrell? Would dirrell give him problems
He lost to Dirrell once in a home town decision and avenged that with a dominant win at the Olympic Games.
Nope. Golovkin has a granite chin.
If Froch and his non-existent defense ever fought Golovkin I truly believe his long-term, and possibly short-term health would be in jeopardy.
Bute showed vulnerability throughout his career, it was only a matter of time. Ggg is vastly better.
