It's ridiculous. Either a small welterweight gets starched by a middleweight, or a drained middleweight gets pot-shotted by a scared to death, running welterweight. Why would anyone want to see either scenario? yeah, this is not a good match up... don't even think of it as fair

On one hand I think this fight would be a size mis-match because whatever weight it's at GGG will rehydrate to 170+ lbs and Floyd would not even be 154lbs. On the other hand, I think regardless of the weight, if Floyd can take GGG's punch, he can and will out box him. However I don't see the fight happening because GGG does not have the casual fan appeal like Canelo, Cotto, or ODLH. If GGG had a little bit more notoriety I think Floyd just might consider this fight at 154lbs. If this fight were to happen and Floyd wins, people will be calling for him to fight Kovalev next. they will skip over the SMW division because Andre Ward is not considered a KO artist and go straight to LHW and call for the Krusher.

Do you not get how weight classes work? If you are over 147, you are a light middle. Weight classes? No what are those how do they work? 150 lbs on fight night is a small WW. It's the equivalent to saying Jose Napoles was a Middleweight.

De La Hoya won a title at 130, moved up and fought Hopkins. Duran was a career LW, moved up and fought Hagler. These were men that dared to be great. That changes the fact that it isn't his first weight class how exactly? He's already moved up 5 weight classes and never met the limit for the 5th. He's also 38 freaking years old. Tell me how old they were when they did that. You do realise he's nowhere near his prime right?

It's incredibly stupid to ask and even expect Floyd to face GGG, Floyd is a small 147lber who rehydrates to 149, Golovkin is natural 160lb fighter who is bound to move up sooner or later. It's ludicrous and unrealistic, people just want to see Mayweather lose so they're throwing him in unfair match ups where he'd be at a severe disadvantage. Before you call me a *****, Golovkin is also one of my favourite fighters. I agree 100%. The only way Floyd makes this fight is if he can drain GGG down to a zombie. Either way it's shyte. I think Floyd would be pretty OG if he made this happen though because it'd be pretty dope if the last fight of his career he tahe's the biggest risk of his career after years of cherry picking. Still think he should fight Cotto again though. I don't think their are any more welterweight fights that would really do anything for him at this point. Sure Khan stylistically could pose some problems but he's hardly earned a shot. Their really is nobody who he clearly needs to fight next. Everybody is still a fight or 2 away. Cotto is the perfect going away fight to try for that middleweight belt. Floyd doesn't take risks.

Floyd has a small frame for a welter. Floyd could still make 140 without any trouble, as could Pacquiao. Floyd literally walks around at about 150lbs. Compare that to, I dunno, Mosely. And what the hell is Weebler talking about, 'Marquez and Hatton are small welters'? Dude, Hatton was a career 140lb'er. Don't get me started on Marquez. Just because someone comes up in weight for a fight, doesn't mean that's their natural fighting weight. Marquez had to put on like a stone of fat for the Mayweather fight. It's the same as saying 'Tyson wasn't a small heavyweight, Roy Jones was a small heavyweight' Which is why he made weight vs Marquez.
