Regardless of where your loss/losses comes in your career, i always rate a fighter when they show they can come back from a loss even stronger or beat the person that beat them. It shows real mental strength, character and is the sign of a great champion when you go from having everything to being nothing but you still have the drive to get back to the top.
Undefeated records don't impress me, i like fighters like Mayweather and Calzaghe but there's always been people out there who they could have faced but did not want to step up to the challenge. It's not even the fact that i want to see them beat, if you put anyone against Mayweather he would probably beat them, but it's more about the fact that he didn't want the challenge (Cotto & Margarito) and that shows a lot about him as a fighter, money over legacy.
No one really wears Jordans in the uk. The only way i Know what Jordan looks like is because i saw space jam as a kid.
Don't think i've ever seen someone wearing Jordan's in England. Probably because they are some of the ugliest shoes ever made.
From a UK point of view, i'd say Mike Tyson purely because we never cared for basketball and still don't watch basketball. In America it's probably Jordan though.
To answer the question, yes he would have dropped him.
But i don't think Khan nowadays would get caught by those kind of punches. Khan isn't as wreckless as Bradley when throwing punches. Bradley was going all out in that exchange when he got dropped, Khan just wouldn't go into the fight with that mindset especially in the first round.
I agree he's neither the future or a hypejob. He's got a good physique going for him and seems to be a change from the norm of overweight/unfit Heavyweights, he's got good speed too.
But these guys he is facing are complete bums, as Teddy said in the last video he needs to step up the competition otherwise we won't see any development.
With the right trainer and better competition he could be a decent fighter imo.
I don't think so. With a fight of this magnitude the judges wouldn't be swayed by crowd noises. But anyway i think the winner of the fight if it ever happens with win it fairly clearly i don't think it will be as close as people expect it to be.
Floyd has faced better fighters than Ortiz. Don't forget that Ortiz has been knocked down by much lesser fighters than Mayweather. I doubt Mayweather will knock him down but that's just an example of how open Ortiz leaves himself sometimes.
Ortiz is a live opponent but only for the first few rounds, once Mayweather figures out his rhythm it will be game over. Berto and Maidana both got to Ortiz's chin so i expect Mayweather to find it with ease.
Ortiz being a southpaw is the only thing making this fight interesting imo. You just can't deny that Ortiz has struggled with lesser fighters than Mayweather and Mayweather has beaten better fighters than Ortiz. There's a huge gulf in class here.
