Does Mayweather have to beat Pac decisively to win??

What I mean here is... When it becomes hard to judge a fight, the judges will go with the more active fighter. In this case, the more active fighter will be Pacquiao. Now on top of this, I know Bob Arum is a shady character. He will shake hands, have dinner dates and throw some money around. In another words...bribery. Does Floyd Mayweather have to defeat Manny Pacquiao by knockout or a clear unanimous decision (as in, 12 rounds of pure dominance by Mayweather), to actually have his hand raised at the end of the fight? Because, if you include the boxing politics into the fight I feel like Floyd Mayweather is going to get screwed. For instance, if Oscar de la Hoya was part of Top Rank when he fought Mayweather and the fight was exactly the same, I have a feeling Oscar would have won due to Arum's "behind the scene" tactics. Floyd snr had Oscar by two round against his own son.

Nah! I think the better fighter will win, an IMO that will b Floyd, I like both fighters but lookin at Manny and what he has done of late and how exposed he is in fights I expect Floyd to take advantage of that and outbox him, I dont expect the Manny to be as loose as he is against other fighters, I think Floyd will command most of the fight, Manny isnt a good adjuster, tho I expect him to hit Floyd a lot more then what Floyd is use too but at the end of the day Manny doesnt have the Ring IQ to keep hitting floyd with the same type of combinations, I expect Floyd to counter be4 Manny gets into a flow.

I don't think so. With a fight of this magnitude the judges wouldn't be swayed by crowd noises. But anyway i think the winner of the fight if it ever happens with win it fairly clearly i don't think it will be as close as people expect it to be. judges are always affected by crowd noise. it's human nature. say you're a judge and the action is not clearly visible. say pac has his back turned to you and all you can see is him punching but you can't see whether it's landing or being blocked. if the crowd is going wild , you might be influenced that he was landing even if he's not.

But what if it's a really close fight and Mayweather gets the nod? Is the excuse for him being really tight with the owners of MGM Grand a valid excuse or is it then considered a legit win for Mayweather? Besides, I have no doubt they're going to assign the best judges and ref possible. This won't be a Williams vs Lara debacle.

I think that either guy who dominates wins.. but heres the thing.. Punch output vs punch stats!! who hurts who who lands cleaner!! I like Pacq in this fight. But would LOVE for this fight to be a WAR form start to finish for 12 HARD RDs. And maybe a Close Split so theyre Be a rematch and maybe even a rubber match.. Couldnt think of a better way or scenario for Both men to retire too.

I've feared that we would be sitting here arguing the outcome of this fight for decades like the Hagler/Leonard fight

I say May gotta totally expose Manny to pull of a decision. Which i believe he shall do. ORtiz business first and foremost though.
