sad times for our british boxing world right now
I like fury and chisora but they aren't ever going to be world class
chisora throws good punches but has no stamina- a suspect chin and no real fighting strategy- he cannot adjust in the ring
fury has great size, but doesn't have strength- he gasses too easily aswell- and leaves his chin exposed far too much- his jab is good and can improve
Its a bit hasty to be denouncing the quality of British HW's dont you think. Punching technique and stamina are things that can be worked on and are not developed overnight. I think both fightes are decent enough to fight at the top level but probably not against two outstanding HW (klits). But could easily hold there own against many of the top 10, personally i think they both need to target these fighters and not get too involved on the European level. I hate seeing fighters come through the domestic level then into the euro level only to get "fed" to serious top level world champion and never get another title shot.
wlad is a chump for wanting to fight him twice!.
And just as weak for wanting to pick on fury who is still too green, just cuz he wants the big Uk money.
Well he has just about beaten everybody else so who should he fight that he hasn't already beaten to a pulp or who isn't scheduled? I don't think their is anybody not that I can think of off the top of my head apart from a 40 odd yr old Cedric Boswell who I do rate but wouldn't give a cats in hells chance :cool2:

That ref is the worst I've ever seen.To be honest english referees are the worst on the planet.Remember I think Hopkins vs Pascal again in Canada and another English ref who sucked donkey balls
Those body punches probably made him gas faster. But is this the best british heavyweights has to offer. Not too good thats for sure Haye would have beaten this dude for sure.
But Tyson fury didnt look too bad at times to be honest, nice combinations and quite tough under pressure and doesnt look too scared and remains calm, weathered the storm, and comes back well.
Chisora boxed the only way he could really against someone that tall, i dont understand why he came in that weight considering he was the bigger puncher and when he threw he back up tyson.
A few lads in the pub who were "boxing experts" explained to me that Chisora was overweight so that he could be more "explosive" but strangely later in the fight when it was clear Tyson was going to win they all moaned about him being overweight...Dereck has some loyal supporters!
reason he put on the weight was he knew fury would be pushing him around while holding, so he needed to get bit of strenght to with stand, but he looked just so slow, compared to his last fight. i do believe not fighting for a long period, for an inexperienced fighter, is also not good.
i think they will havea rematch, and chisora will come back at a lower weight, fight will be closer but fury might just take it
Derek Chisora looked absolutely awful didn't he? Not that I thought Fury looked much better but at least he could string a combination together.
Even more shocking is I don't think Chisora threw a straight punch? What the hell was with him throwing those shockingly wide hooks & big looping overhands?
I think it was about round 7 I actually spat my water out laughing when he put his head right down, plodded forward & started wind milling.
You could see him load up on them a mile away, though he did have some success but boy I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Good job he didn't fight Wlad because he'd of got murdered. Not sure where Delboy should go next, I'd personally like to see in better shape & fight somebody like Martin Rogan, though based on that performance I think even a 40yr old Rogie would take him apart.
ref was one of the worst ive ever seen. both fighters locked each other yet ref allowed them to do so EVERY round. but chisora was one fat sh*t fighter.
He looked in terrible shape, but I also think the constant leaning, holding and use of elbows by Fury were a factor. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned the amount of holding Fury did. He should have been deducted points. With that said, I doubt it would have made much difference to the outcome, Chisora simply wasn't active enough.
