I don't see the big deal here, so what if Margarito beat Cotto fair.Does that make Cotto a chump if he did. I saw Tiberi whip James Toney's ass in Atlantic City.Toney got the win but everyone knows Tiberi whipped him. Was Toney a punk because of it? I'm a Cotto fan and unless its proven otherwise Margarito beat him fair.
If you do research you'll win more than you lose, look at the boxers, promoters, and where they are fighting. Obvious stuff like hometown guys usually get the decision. I won Hatton vs Pacquiao since Hatton throughout his career has trouble with leftys as do most boxers.I lost Wright vs Williams because I didn't give Williams activity enough credit.
Buster Douglas, no matter what you think of Tyson that night(I think Tysons last fight in his prime was Ruddock 2) Douglas showed when he gets into shape he has a decent chin, good technique, and alot of heart. Its a shame it only came out in a couple of fights.
Not that much of a prediction, Cotto wins by KO in the 8th round or sooner. Cotto's coming out fired up in MSG and he needs to destroy Clottey to get in line for Pacqiuao.
I had it 6 rounds a piece with a win for Cotto because of the knockdown.
BS, was Clottey laying on the ground like he'd been shot. My knee, My knee, what a bitch. Then he gets tapped on the back of his head and cries like Oliver Mcall.
More bs, Cotto's corner should of stopped the fight after the sixth round, now its gonna take forever for that nasty cut to heal. Whomever let Cotto keep fighting is an idiot.
All in all Clottey beat the sh!t out of Cotto last night, good thing for Cotto boxing is scored by rounds not by the entire fight.
You guys know sh@it about boxing
Cotto won the first round 10 -8 that gives him 2 round advantage over Clottey right off the start then he won rounds 7, 11 and 12 that gives him 5 rounds already he also won on my opinion rounds 2,4,5 that is a total of 8 rounds to 5 since I honestly think Clottey was more aggressive and won rounds 3,6,8,9.
Stop looking at lederman card you novices... this is a round per round fight. Also I was counting the punches and the stats were wrong....I know Cotto haters out there are crying like babies and can not accept Cotto won a hard fight bleeding and protecting himself. He was the better man and the better fighter all along and Clottey knows it nobody fights 8 rounds bleeding with limited visibility like that.
You think Clottey won round six, isn't that the round Cotto had him in the corner for about a minute. Cotto landed more punches that round. One of us is nuts maybe its me.
Mayweather is a great boxer,it doesn't take a man to go in the ring and get your head blasted for 10 rounds.Good for him, he has the skills to not get beaten down in a fight..Which is why he didn't fight Margarito. He's also smart, doesn't want to get his ass kicked.
Mayweather fought DLH instead of Margarito because he's smart. Look how long it took Leonard to fight Hagler. If Cotto wasn't ruined in the Margarito fight plaster or not he'll crush Mayweather.Does anyone here believe FMM didn't see Cotto vs Margarito or Cotto vs Mosely.I'll tell you exactly what FMM thought after watching those fights,I better move up, down or get 70 million to fight one of those monsters.
Boxers are great athletes no doubt about it,but as they get older like anyone else its harder to lose weight and it takes alot more work to lose the weight.Lets say Cotto walks around at 155 between training for fights. For him now to reach 140 instead of 147 thats a huge difference. At some point he's losing muscle, strength and probably some stamina just to make 140. Boxers should fight the weight thay are most comfortable at, nothing less. One day of eating after the weigh in doesn't mean shit after 8 weeks of losing body mass. The worst thing a boxer can do is fight dehydrated, it will cause more brain damage and concussions.
That's because Albert Pujols shits all over Ted Williams head to head, Shaq would man handle Wilt Chamberlain, Ladanian Tomlinson would run circles around frickin Doak Walker. But Sugar Ray Robinson would beat the shit out of Floyd Mayweather and Ali would make Wladimir Klitschko look like he is trying to jab a ghost.
Pujols couldn't carry Williams's jock, he missed four years in WW2 and still hit 521 homeruns, what was he a career .364 hitter. Baseball is the only sport where you can fail 65 to 70 percent of the time and still get in the Hall of Fame. The only place Shaq and Wilt are comparable is free throws, since Wilt used to broad jump from the foul line and dunk it so the NBA changed the rules. At least one year he averaged 50 points a game, although neither one could handle Bill Russell. The rest of your list is alright though.
Bowe vs Golata 2
Gatti vs Ward 1-3
Holyfield vs Foreman
Ali vs Frazier 3
Jonesjr vs Griffin 2
Roy Jones proved how nasty he could be when rightly pissed off. Thrilla is still the best heavyweight fight I have ever seen. Any fight with Holyfield(Granite Head) strongest chin on any boxer I have ever seen. Mickey Wards eyes bleed when he gets punched in the chest, both guys all heart.Bowe vs Golata, Bowe was so punch drunk from Holyfield his head didn't feel anything in that fight, his brain never told his legs to go under.I liked that fight because it proved Bowe and Rock Newman to be a couple of mental midgets. Lets fight that big goof again maybe this time he won't use my nut sack as a speed bag instead Foul Pole not only headbutted Bowe this time around he used Bowe's nutsack as a heavybag.Bowe's expression at the end of the fight is priceless. I don't care how much Bowe got paid for that fight it wasn't worth it. What a douche.

Personally I'm not anti European or anti Russian, I'm pro American and yes I can't stand the fact Eastern European fighters dominate the heavyweight division. I'm also tired of Rahman,Peter, and Ruiz.
The Klit brothers aren't neccesarily boring but most of there opponents are.
Chavez vs Taylor 1
Mugabi vs Hagler - I think it was Showtimes first fight and I still have the tape, even though he lost I gained a new respect for The Beast that dude was an animal.
Bowe vs Golota 2 When I need a laugh I watch this.
Should Floyd fight Pacquaio?
On his first fight back from retirement,no. I don't think he ever has to fight Pacquiao,he does need Cotto and Mosely though if he cares about his legacy. Most fans aren't giving Marquez his due, maybe he's being downplayed so if he beats PBF it will look like a huge upset. Its been a long time since PBF fought someone with Marquez's speed and toughness. If Marquez is as good as he was against Pac,PBF might get his ass whipped.
I have an easy solution for this, Mayweather beats Marquez, he then fights Cotto in December at 147. That gives Pac maybe two fights at 147 to get used to the weight. The only problem with that is Cotto would whip Mayweathers ass, then we wind up with Cotto and Pac. Pac and Mayweather is the money fight so Mayweather just has to duck Cotto which shouldn't be that difficult for him.
That is a retarded solution.
Why not do what they will do, which is Mayweather will beat Marquez at 143 and then fight Pacquiao at 143-144? Pffffft forget cotto at this point!
It probably is but November/December is to early for Mayweather to fight Pac. If Mayweather beats Pac, Mayweather can retire again without fighting Cotto and people will still call him a puss. Now if Mayweather beats Cotto and then fights Pac,thats a bigger money fight.
You only have to look at Meldrick Taylor after the Chavez fight, yea Taylor should of won the fight, but his career was ruined after that fight. If you make a career of getting drilled in your dome eventually its gonna catch up.Long drawn out fights are much worse for your brain than 2 rounders.Again see Taylor. Mayweather probably started Hattons downturn and Pac just amplified it.If he wants to fight and gets regular cat scans thats his choice. He should never fight another southpaw again.
Hatton doesn't need to quit, he has to stay away from southpaws though.I guess its to late for him to figure out to slip with his own punches(after the 1st round he should of figured that out) or to keep his right hand up when facing a guy with a killer left hand.
Legs, with a good hip rotation.I've been on the receiving end of Foreman type power, like the recoil of a shotgun into your shoulder,Tyson is more like a rifle, more precise very sharp hits.
Ali vs Frazier 1
Gatti vs Ward 3
Chavez vs Taylor
Honorable mention
Bowe vs Golota 1 I never laughed so hard at a boxing match and even thinking of the last shot Bowe took below the belt, his expression was priceless.
Watch :59 and 1:01 in the 2nd fight when he goes to the body with a weak left. Not only does he lean in but his right hand is down, which is usually the problem when inexperienced big guys try to fight small.Practicing body shots is what sparring is for.Wilder won't see 10 fights unless he fixes that.Against a fighter with a good right hand and a little smarts Wilders head would end up in the 12th row with the beer man.
I asked my two boys ages 7 and 9 if they would fight each other for millions of dollars. My 7 year old replied "I'll punch him for free" and then proceeded to left hook his brother in the nuts. I might have Golota jr on my hands. Come to think of it he does have a 20 pound head.
