6 BS things about last night

I didn't think Steward was incorrect with the comments he was making about Clottey. Clottey was the bigger, stronger guy landing the better punches for many rounds. He did very well in the middle of the fight and won his rounds BIG. I thought Steward was correct to say many of the things he said. He was somewhat propping up Clottey but Lamps was doing that 2x as much for Cotto. Anybody whining one way or the other about any of the fouls in that fight need to stop too. The headbutt WAS unintentional as far as I could see. Cotto was moving to the side and Clottey was bringing that head up and it caught Cotto. That's a big, hard ****in dome so naturally what happened happened. Cotto is a beast for fighting as long as he did with a cut of that magnitude and couldn't see the right hand coming all night from there on out. Cotto THROWING Clottey to the ground? Maybe if Clottey had a better way of defending himself than jumping on Cotto's head and holding him he wouldn't have gotten SHRUGGED the **** off. Cotto did nothing wrong there. He doesn't come to hold and clinch. He wanted to fight.

most of the hbo crew was biased towards cotto.I remember in one round where clottey was dominating and right at the last second of the round cotto landed one left hook and the guys were saying thay gave the round to cotto on the basis of one left hook.They said that the hook caught the judges eyes and cotto took the round.Now thats some fuked up shit! lol, i remmember that lol

Clottey's knee was hurt from Cotto stepping on him while he was down. After pushing him down from the clinch, Cotto steps back over his foot, twisting his knee. Cotto sure isn't shy about using desparation tactics...it's strategy to a point, but soon enough you're just acting like Andrew Golota.

Clottey won 8 rnds on my card when i rewatched it. Last night I thought he won 7. co-sign.......Clottey didnt need the 12th rd on my card.......plus everybody is sayin Clottey lost the LAST 2 ROUNDS.......thats bullshit.......Clottey won the 11th round!!!....as a matter of fact Clottey took EVERY round from 7-11 to go with rounds 2, 3, and 5..........:boxing: i thought he won 7 rounds too.....i even gave cotto rounds 11 & 12... i gave cotto 1,4,6,11,12......so after the 10th, which i gave clottey, i figured then cotto shouldn't win this fight unless he knocks clottey out.....i guess two judges were watching a completely different fight than i was....that one judge was right on point 114-113 clottey, but i don't know what fight the other 2 judges saw.

The biase for cotto by Jim lampley especially has to stop, He's making himself look stupid because he's suppose to call a fight between two fighters, He needs to surpress his man-crush that he has for cotto, He did the samething in the Margarito fight until cotto couldnt continue anymore.

If you were bleeding like he was I bet you would not even fight you can talk all you want but give credit to Cotto for fighting 8 rounds with limited vision and bleeding. 1.) lol @ "granite chined" clottey going down in the first round with a jab. 2.) clottey in the THRID round, already a goddamn headbutt, **** 3.) wtf is with cotto body droping clottey lol 4.) emmanuel stewart was biased all night for clottey, even rounds that jim and harold had for cotto, he had for clottey. 5.) the same judge that had cotto ahead in the judah fight by 6 points (which is BS) had it 116-111, WTF!!!! it was a good fight, i had it a draw. since when were harold lederman, and jim lampley any type of authority figures? most fights i watch on HBO, i give rounds to one fighter that harold lederman somehow sees the other fighter winning.....last night was no different. it's okay if you had cotto winning the fight, but if he did, he won by no more than a point......i had clottey winning by a point, and that fourth round everybody had a draw, i decided to give that to cotto....generously

True post! I'm a huge Cotto fan and the commentating from Lampley was totally bias toward Cotto - which clearly highlighted that Steward was for Clottey...it is what it is.. Lampley has been like that for Cotto for awhile now...

The punch in the back of the head was wrong.. look at the ref's reaction and yes they showed it on replay..Cotto was looking at him and still threw the punch.. that was the reason why the ref got upset... It's not that we are all Cotto haters, we are just saying that we thought he lost IMO.. But Cotto gots the dub, good for him, hope there will be a rematch but there won't be...

I actually thought that commentary was extremely biased for Cotto, to the point where I had to turn it off in the middle of the fight. Usually it doesn't bother me but Lampley and co. nearly bursting out crying everytime Cotto landed anything of substance (and sometimes even if he didn't) annoyed me. 1) Clottey wasn't hurt, just was off balance when the punch landed, you could tell he was pissed off that's why he got up and started slamming his gloves together and that... just knocked off balance. Clottey felt the body. But was never really hurt. Cotto is a great fighter and has POWER. Clottey got careless and had problems that he overcame with his shell guard.

I had it 6 rounds a piece with a win for Cotto because of the knockdown. BS, was Clottey laying on the ground like he'd been shot. My knee, My knee, what a bitch.
