I know that Clottey will win, but I'm undecided on how it will happen. If I have to give a prediction I guess I'll go with Clottey by TKO. I don't think he will straight up knock out Cotto, and he might not even knock him down, but I think he might badly hurt him to where either the ref, corner, or Cotto himself stops it.
Clottey is getting slept on.
Agreed. I think plaster or no, Margarito showed the world the formula to beating Cotto, and I think Clottey can pull it off. Just keep coming forward and keep throwing punches, cut of the ring and break him down. I do like Cotto and i'd be the first to give him alot of respect for beating Clottey(even more if he stopped him), but i just don't see it happening though.
Not that much of a prediction, Cotto wins by KO in the 8th round or sooner. Cotto's coming out fired up in MSG and he needs to destroy Clottey to get in line for Pacqiuao. if cotto destroys clottey, pac might not want a part of cotto. they will demand cotto come down to 142 and no higher. cotto aint doing that.

Tough one, what i think is Cotto never won against a bigger man, he always been carefully matched so that his power looked huge.
Shane was a bit of a gamble, but they thought he was old, and Shane showed up not his best, and with a wrong gameplan (boxing Cotto instead of hurting him). I think Shane would beat Cotto in a rematch, because he would come there to pressure him from round one.
Margarito was bigger, active, and with an iron chin...despite the plaster, thats what had Cotto in trouble mentally...he felt like his power wasnt working and he wasnt hurting his opponent. I think that sene can repeat against Clottey.
Clottey is a big welterweight, he wont be rocked by Cotto, instead, Cotto could punch himself out at times and burn his stamina. Cotto has shorter arms, he has a good jab, but Clottey counterpunching ability is underrated.
Check out how he outboxed a still sound Judah. And his power must be there, to make Judah want to pull out from the fight and try luck on the scorecards. And remember this is his BIG chance.
Plus Cotto might be mentally cracked from the Margo war, as soon as he feels shaken from a punch his mind might come into play and make him fold up.
So im going for the underdog, in a bloody war, and we could even see the towel flying
Co sign, thats a pretty impressive way to put it!!!
