Cotto would KO Pac in the mid rounds, and take May out late. He knows he wouldn't win a decision there. I can't believe how overlooked Cotto is in this forum. Greatest boxer alive...he was just plastered! :boxing:
they all the same bro...just a easy prey for pacman... cotto will get ko at 140 in the late rounds i gurantee it......
And you think Cotto will drop to 140? You must be kidding me. Cotto might meet half way, which would still be a mistake, but at 147 lil Paky Pac is toast.
Mayweather fought DLH instead of Margarito because he's smart. Look how long it took Leonard to fight Hagler. If Cotto wasn't ruined in the Margarito fight plaster or not he'll crush Mayweather.Does anyone here believe FMM didn't see Cotto vs Margarito or Cotto vs Mosely.I'll tell you exactly what FMM thought after watching those fights,I better move up, down or get 70 million to fight one of those monsters.
I am pretty sure Floyd would fight Mosley. If he can't fight Pacman next then who else is there, aslong as he gets paid what he wants I am pretty sure he has no issue figting Mosley.
There have been issues between Arum and Al Haymon for years (not to mention Mayweather basically got over on old Bob taking his cash early and no cutting him in once he made it big). I see why they do not see eye to eye, to me this is the reason that after he left Arum making fights with Arum fighters was next to impossible (it is still hard now, because Arum hates Haymon even more now then he did then).
To make a fight with Pacman they will have to put asides these past issues though, it is funny how large bags full of money tend to do that.

^^ All hail the above post!!!

quit playing it safe...either you like Cotto by KO or you DONT...I just want ONE answer from you.
I am not playing it safe...both could happen. A Cotto KO or a Floyd UD win. In the Shane fight I also had either winning....and I was very close with that one.
Wow! Did you read my post? I say a Cotto KO with a posibility of a May UD victory. LOL

cotto could never beat pacman.. r u crazy!!!!he comes forward, manny loves fighting toe 2 toe...i'll say cotto get ko in the late rounds
Cotto is no Hatton. Remember that!!!! Also please go look at the Mosley/Cotto fight. That is your assignment.

agreed :lurk: :fest30:
You are correct about the weight issue. Yes Cotto is vunerable at anything below 147. At 147 though he would KO Pac, and eventhough May would be harder to do the same I see him taking care of business late in the fight.
I think he would need to but that is easier said then done I usually like the guy with more options in any fight. In Floyd-Cotto that means I like Floyd, although Cotto could win for sure.
In Cotto verses Pacman, who is the more versitle man, I don't know exactly. I know Pacman is faster and that would play a large part early, until Cotto could use his timing that could allow him to change the direction of the fight. At 147 I am pretty sure he can stem the early rush and break down Pacman, at 143 I am unsure if he can do it.
Both would be interesting and entertaining fights though (imo).

you also said that you see May winning a UD..which ONE is it?
i think he beats both but if floyd beats cotto its by decision hes not going to knock him out he wont be on the offensive enough to do that
Once he gets in his rhythm and has broken down his opponents' defense, and the fight gets in the later rounds he gets more offensive.
How do you feel if Cotto has to come down to 143ish to fight Pacman. I still consider it a good fight, but Cotto is a thick dude cutting that weight could be costly. I just have a hard time seeing him winning in that fight (at 143), at 147 he is very very dangerous though (aslong as he is still the Cotto we came to know, and should find out in June).
It is not like those 4 pounds would for sure cost him, but it does bring up some question marks for me (to many).

ive said it b4 2 cotto beats both of them i think he actually beats may in a sd and kos pacman
I disagree...that he beats Floyd. He has a better chance against Pac...but you and I are both entitled to our own opinions.
You also said that you think May would win a UD...look below
MAKE your mind up..what do you REALLY believe about the May-Cotto?
I did say that, but if you look at my starting post I said that Cotto would be smart enough to take him out before a UD. All in all, I am not psychic...both could happen. I am saying that Cotto would (or should) be smart enough and take him out before a UD happened.
Cotto gets knocked out brutally if he drains himself for Pacquiao, and I have always stated (for over 3 years now) that Mayweather would TKO Cotto late.
