I'd have these entrance songs:
DMX: What's My Name
Trick Daddy ft. Li'l Jon and Twista: Let's Go
Metallica: For Whom The Bell Tolls
D12: Fight Music
"you think it's a game, you thinkit's a fu**ing gaaaaaaaaaame, come on"
the mental ward couldn't even sell out at his hometown of Oakland.
I remember going to barber shops in Oakland and they were trying to give out tickets to his fight for free just to help make it look like folks came out for him.
He never fought out of his back yard and is ducking Canelo.
not surprising; off the top of my head several incidents come to mind:
ducking manny for 5 years by moving the goal post on the testing. (Later turns out floyd was paying usada out of his own pocket to hide his positive ped tests and enable him to use illegal ivs).
ran from one armed manny for 12 rounds en-route to getting outlanded 120-69.
ducked mosley until mosley turned 40.
ducked odlh rematch - 1st was life and death and could have easily been scored for oscar.
drained canelo when he was barely 20 years old.
brought marquez up 2 weight classes.
retired when the WW division was stacked only to return once they had all beaten each other.
brought hatton up from 140 and needed to get favorable referring again.
a few more minutes of research would probably yield another dozen or so instances
you forgot "beats on women". Can't get anymore cowardly than that.
good question. I like good body work, but if I had to take a guess at your question, I'd say when dudes see someone about to go, I think naturally they just go for the knock out vs continue to break down the body
if someone is dazed with no balance and out of it, I'd think continuing to go for the head would drop them moreso than a continued body attack. Maybe the body attack might give someone that needed time to clear their head as well.
plus with going to the body, gives more opportunity to tie up, thus more time to clear one's head(assuming they can take the body shots)
Without a doubt. As you say there is some proper BS scoring and it isnt getting any better but even if it was all good it would be nice for a fighter and his corner to know how they are doing and react on how the fight is going for them.
Off the top of my head I really can't think of any down sides to open scoring other than corner teams and fans sharing their objections to them if they disagree.
I'm just saying, besides the whole ending/suspense aspect, I can't really find a benefit for fighters/fans not knowing what's going on during the fight.
Again, in other sports they see the score, so why can't we here.
Maybe the patriots never make that come back against the falcons
Maybe Marquez doesn't take his foot off the gas rounds 10,11,12 in his 3rd fight with Pacquiao
Maybe Canelo doesn't get a draw card against Mayweather since the judge will know her card is being seen right then and there
I don't know, I'm just seeing a lot more benefits for it than the negative.
If folks have more things to say about it being a negative thing, I'd love to hear why
definitely, it might put some of these corrupt judges to shame as the fight progresses and they try to balance the books
That's actually my big thing, just putting these judges out on blast and having them take responsibility for once.
My cousin who actually boxed as a pro told me fuck this sport. He was a recipient of a few bad calls where the judges gave it to the other guy and he was telling himself why the f is he doing all this. He puts his body through hell and works his ass off only for someone to say nope you didn't win
In something that is very subjective, you need something to help make things balanced.
Even if the judge is completely wrong during the fight and having a horrible card, at least the boxer can be aware of that and make adjustments if needed.
I think we'd get more knock outs too.
Someone sees they're down a lot on the cards, they try to go for the knock out and either get it, or leave themselves open to get knocked out themselves.
lol Canelo lost to a green fighter.
maybe a cherry pick gone bad.
canelo's opponent choices are:
-never really good to begin with
-over the hill and past it
-green
they probably thought bivol would be a good opponent because he could be good but at the moment probably still a little green
it just back fired
canelo's stock doesn't drop though, had they gotten a "w" then it would've dropped
Hmmm, another dummy. This is like saying a great race car driver should be able to win even with a broken water pump. Just when I thought stupid couldn’t get any more pathetic. If I ever write anything this stupid someone please put me out of my misery. You’d be doing me and the human race a favor.
another alt more like it
Bruh, did you seriously stole this post in reddit and claimed it as your own?

lol proof this site is a piece of shit.
trolling isn't enough anymore. they've resulted in jacking other pages stuff and putting it into here.
Berto(e) had the cutest shoulder roll I seen with his t-Rex arms and stocky physique lol
that shit with guerrero was comedic. it lasted 1 round and 27 seconds into the 2nd till he said f this lol
