Who cares?!?! Fight is years too late!!!!!! Remember when Saul cried and b!tched and stated he wouldn't fight GGGrandpa again cause Borat called him out for pissin dirty?!
I more or less agree - I think GGG will be most vulnerable early and very likely a body shot or shots would have something to do with his getting hurt. If the fight goes into the 2nd half, I see GGG doing pretty well there, still, because stamina wise he still seems levels above Canelo.
Canelo does fade a bit and picks his shots during the last 4 rounds of a fight. He can be out hustled but that takes skills and a fresher GGG was able to do it.
You are right with Murata being more active and he came prepared to go to the body. Don't forget that he too was coming off a long layoff. Even though he throws more than Canelo he is not as accurate. But there are different styles so there is so much you can take for it as a guide for a Canelo fight.
One thing was that GGG can be hurt to the body but he did get better as the fight went on and his chin held up very well.

GGG by stoppage.
Canelo has been slowing down A LOT since moving up to 168 and playing at 175. GGG since working with his new nutrition coach is coming in stronger and the man has MUCH better gas tank even at 40, than Canelo does. This is a fight that GGG has nothing to lose and everything to gain. When Canelo slows down, GGG will not be reluctant to go in and close it out like Bivol was. GGG by late stoppage.
If it goes 12 rounds, then again, GGG wins in the eyes of the fans and the boxing community but will obviously lose on the prefilled score cards. =)
Golovkin's hands and his reaction time are too slow. His power is down also as his punches lack impact. The ref will at some point have to step in and stop it. Golvkin has been in a steady decline for years now, which is only natural.
I wish this fight was not happening, surely Golovkin has enough money by now.
The first five rounds, comparing GGG-Canelo 2 to Murata-GGG, Murata threw about 30 more punches per round than Canelo. Just different types of fights - Canelo likely can't and likely won't fight that way.

With how slow GGG started his last fight he will have difficulty this time to catch up. Canelo UD.
For Canelo sake I don't know where his head is at this time and that Bivol lost might have him distracted especially since he is saying that he won.
Eh, more so to do with Golovkin shaking off ring rust. Not to mention Murata's output is significantly higher than Canelo's, especially now with Saul at higher weights. Alvarez can't throw at the pace that Murata did. We saw how exhausted he was in the later rounds against Bivol. If he doesn't get Golovkin out of there early, he can easily fade again. He also has to cut weight again, while Golovkin finally doesn't. Not saying Golovkin wins because the first rounds are already scored for Canelo but I think he can give 1 last great performance, win or lose.
Of course that guy already quoted you saying similar shit. Goddammit.

Golovkin is 40. The judges will give it to Canelo because Golovkin will clearly lose.
If it goes 12, odds are it's still a very close fight. Styles make fights and all that, GGG's activity and jab are still very tough for Canelo who likes to fight in spurts.
Murata threw about 30 more punches per round than Canelo did vs GGG in their 2nd fight - over the first 5 rounds, before Murata slowed down. Canelo doesn't fight the same way as Derevy and Murata.
I'd say most likely scenario is a legitimate close fight, but Canelo winning a clear decision or even stopping GGG are probably the next two most likely scenarios.
If Canelo hurts GGG it will be through a well-timed shot, not accumulation like Sergei and Murata tried to do.
GGG did look old and his punches looked slow in his last fight.
His stamina surprised me however and how he got better as the rounds progressed.
If Canelo comes in with the same 'gonna knock him out' strategy as against Bivol, throwing power after power shot, I think he will be in a lot of trouble if he can't stop GGG in the first half of the fight. GGG will look to up the pace and his output.
Even though he is 40, I favor him a bit if the fight goes this way. GGG is still a hard man and can dig deep, which is something I started to have doubts about with Canelo.
Canelo doesn't really have a pokerface which is kinda strange with his experience.
If he is tired or frustrated, everyone can see. When he is tired he seems to just go through the motions, doing the same thing.
You don't see him with unwavering belief, bite down, with body language that shows a real will to win when it gets hard and he is really tired (like old school Mexican fighters i.e.)
Anyway, everyone is expecting him to defeat a 40 year old, so he's got a lot more on the line than GGG....

Triple G by stoppage, then he stops fat dave and then he retires.
Canelo goes on to get stretchered out of the building in the bivol rematch and decides to retire after 3 consecutive soul crushing defeats.
idk i think it might be a bit closer than people think, a defeat can be tough to take and ggg has the potential to raise his game a bit for nelo, i think nelo will win but it could be another good fight, first 2 were excellent scraps
Are we giving our opinion on how it will go, or what the judges will say
Golovkin is 40. The judges will give it to Canelo because Golovkin will clearly lose.
'Weightbully' Clen will look for a statement to prove his 'Mexican' style on GGGrandpa, trying to disprove his cowardly performance against Bivol in which he gave up after round 2. However this fight is already 10 years due since he waited G out for almost 2 years and only got the guts to sign the fight after Jacobs held his own against G. HOWEVER Clen still got tested positive on Clenbuterol and in the official weigh in he had PED Needle marks all over his body.
Now that GGG is 40 y/o , Clen finally has the guts to fight GGG without PEDS altough he still does not have the stones to fight GGGrandpa at his natural weight without PEDS.
Note however that in his mind-bubble a W over GGGrandpa is significant in any way shape or form completely neglecting the antics he went through to Duck G in a fair scrap.
