So, I was debating a guy on social media about Canelo and respecting what he is doing in his career as of late via getting undisputed at 168 and now fighting for a title against a prime, dangerous champ in Bivol.
The debate was going and the guy concludes that Canelo is a weight bully (LOL!!)

Skills pays the bills.
Had there not been weight clauses on these guys they would have lost anyways. And that's the opponents' problems for taking the fights, Don't sign the contract then and move on.
I understand there is controversy in cotnract issues, but at the end of the day, those opponents didn't have the skills to win, simple as that.
They would have lost anyway? Canelo ducked Saunders for years and only took him on when he had a bad fight previously. He also said he wanted nothing to do with Smith until he had the bad fight with Ryder. But for him to then go and give Smith only 3 weeks training camp, doesn't in any way support Canelo believing he could beat them otherwise. The complete opposite actually.
No one behaves the way canelo does if he has full confidence in beating them. He wouldn't shame himself to the extent he has otherwise.
Is it still considered "analysis" when the guy is obviously a moron?
Haha!!
I mean I mentioned earlier everyone has a right to their opinion, but there are some opinions that are straight weird, biased and lame definitely.
To a degree he was bro, but he was mixing in how Canelo is "ducking" Charlo and Videz NOW.
I honestly don't think Canelo is "ducking" them. Plus Charlo with his stupid excuse of Videz needs to get vaccinated and he is too big for Charlo when Charlo himself ran his mouth off about Videz, then Videz responds and Charlo backs off.
That's exactly why Mike Tyson exposed him on his show.
I respect Charlo but as of recent he looking quite lame to me.
I see. These guys are fighters, so IMO they need to FIGHT! no excuses, no BS, just do what they have chosen to do for a living. Benevidez vs Charlo is a great fight and Canelo vs either of them or the winner is another great fight. :boxing:
I think it's because Elie posts all these interviews with Gilberto Ramirez and Benavidez who basically say Bivol was easy work in sparring. I definitely don't believe them because I've seen plenty of times what Bivol does in real fights against legit opponents and I've seen those other 2 struggle against bums. But I do think they've fooled a lot of the boxing world into thinking this is a cherry pick.
Wow big facts man.
That's why I honestly can care less when fighters blab away about sparring. Like who the heck cares about how good so and so sparred?
It's all about how they perform under the bright lights on fight night.
Facts man and that's the annoying part, Bivol is no cherry pick and what sucks is that these communities out here whine and pout about it and don't understand how great a fight this is
EVERY boxing expert has him #1 or #2 at LHW.
Maybe these clowns need to start getting popped in the mouth for saying stupud sht
LOL!!!
I feel you man. I mean I understand everyone has a right to their opinion but my gosh, people go way out there with their stupid biases.
Didn't Canelo have several fights at catch weights? Maybe the guy was referring to them.

I don't think his venture at 168 is that impressive but the Bivol fight is very impressive. Even more if he goes for undisputed against Beterbiev.
On 168, I will give him credit for fighting 3 very solid opponents in a year. Fighters need to be more active.
To me, Dimitry Bivol is on a different level from Callum Smith, BJS, Plant.
And Beterbiev is a different level too, but a vey different style. Styles make fights and I really don't know who wins Bivol vs. Beterbiev. Or Canelo.
Well said man. On point.
I mean that's the thing that becomes so annoying. You got these fighters like Charlo and Andrade whining and pouting for a fight with Canelo but they hardly fight in a year, lame for a pro boxer and being champs at that who don't even want to unify.
Yeah man, that's pretty much my thing. Beating BJS and Plant how he did really got a lot more of my respect, and how active he been. These champs got to catch up, wake up and smell the freaking coffee beans. Or they will just go down as mediocre belt holders who don't make legacy moves.

The dude you were arguing with is a f@gg0t that DKSAB.
If he makes weight, he’s in that weight class.
Yup like the last time you won a bet on boxing. We just do the opposite of what your V@gina says.
Again stupid EVERYONE has Bivol ranked 1-2 at LHW. But your skanky lil green puss has him ranked the worst boxer ever.
Nothing says sht show clown like you do when your open your dic suking lips...
I dont know what u are on about, ive said many times this fight with bivol is a great fight & ive never once mentioned bivol in this thread, i mentioned rocky fielding and jacobs and the hydration clauses, no mention of bivol whatsoever, u crazy i dont think u are reading my posts right thats why u might be foaming at the mouth
Ill repeat it for u, this fight with bivol is a great matchup and i will give nelo full credit for the win if he gets it clean & there is no hydration clause which is great, the way it should be imo
I can only imagine if ggg had put clauses in his fight with jacobs and people of the caliber of fielding etc what state u would be in on this forum LMAO
EXACTLY!!! I think I might of seen him maybe lose 1-2 ROUNDS!
He made Joe Smith look like a Bi@tch
The dudes game is 100! He makes sht look EASY.
Pascal too. Except for the second Kovalev fight where he was really just not himself, Pascal has put up a good fight against everyone he fought, including prime Kovalev, but Bicol made it easy work.

Thats because u know boxing unle these haters who would get beat the fuk up at a bar calling Bivol a cherry pick.
I blame it on the Jake Paul crowd, and a lot of pro boxers to be honest.
Most hardcore boxing fans, even ones like me that support Andrade and Charlo know what kind of threat Bivol is.
But you have these channels like Elie seckbachs channel inteviewing all these boxers and trainers calling it a cherry pick. I really think they've never watched a single Dimitry Bivol fight.
He was at 154 as was Crawford at 135. I think it's something you can do when you're young but not so well as you pass 30.
Yeah but Bud Crawford never needed to fight at 136. He was too big for 135 but you never had the absurd size differences you had with the canelo fights. Remember the Liam Smith fight? It looked like a super middleweight fighting a small super welterweight. The Cotto fight was even worse.
To me 168 was the start of Canelo fighting in evenly sized fights. It will be interesting to see what he does against bigger guys Bivol and Beterbiev now.
