All about styles. Markus always had the style to beat Green. Beyer got caught by surprised the first fight and deserved to lose but got help from crooked German officiating. No excuses this time. Green had the opportunity to finish Beyer off and blew it. Like it or not, Beyer was just the better fighter this time.

Win or lose, Trinidad will be much more competitive. Hopkins has the style to beat Tito's ass nine out of ten times. But when youre 41, even if youre stylistic better than most guys out there, father time catches up. Hops by close decision or Trinidad by late TKO is my prediction.
The only thing that Pavlik has going for him is the right. That straight right he has is viscious!!! Other than that, he's slow, can be out worked and his hands problems will eventually come back to haunt him.
That was a VERY brutal fight. Both showed tremendous heart. The cut on Arce's nose was hella nasty. Wonder what wouldve happened had Arce been in Hussein's weight class instead of fighting as a junior lightweight. :eek: :rolleyes:

If any of you are betting folk, I would bet against Wlad in every fight he has now till he retires. Wlad shouldnt even be boxing anymore IMO. He has a bad chin. He has bad stamina. And he has real confidence issues. All three are recipes for disaster. Castillo is capable of beating him.
Tito/Mayorga was a one-sided beating. This fight was nothing like that. One fighter(Morales) was slightly better than the other(Paquiao). He executed his gameplan very well and won enuff rounds to secure a victory. If anyone watches the fight again, Pacman landed a GOOD amount of punches on Morales. One side beatings dont have back and forth trading like this fight did.
Funny how the truth is skewed because some fans went overboard over one fighter and the fans of another fighter just wants to rub it in without actually being straight forward about it. Morales won legit and at worst a draw could be argued. But in no way was the fight a one sided beatdown like Tito/Mayorga.
Pacman was okay with the Winning gloves because he actually believed he was gonna KO Morales. Once he hit Morales with his best punches and all he got was a slightly stunned fighter in front of him, Pacman regretted every ounce of power he ever gave Murad Muhamamad. I dont blame anyone but Manny Pacquiao for what happened last night. Letting a promoter control your destiny and almost destroying it is just flat ignorance. I hope Shelly Finkel helps him get his shit straight.
