Is no one watching this fight? Apparently Beyer is looking really good so far and he's winning the fight. Most everyone seems to have Beyer leading 5-3 and some even have it 6-2. What happened to Green? Maybe Toney ruined him. :dunno:
how did hamden go in his fight do you know
hamdan lost on unaminous points.........................other aussie boxers are: peden, soliman, shannon taylor.......
i really expected this result as i knew danny would still be emotionally scarred from the first fight, thus disabling him from being able to worry about getting on with it....this I think is why he was very cautious about getting close to beyer and he was probably thinking too much instead of doing the normal thing.........credit to beyer for doing what he had to do to win a points decision.......
however, danny's lack of long distance fight experience was what prevented him from knocking out beyer in the last round...it was evident that danny didn't have the energy in him.
once again credit to beyer, but i still rate danny as a better fighter......he will fight anyone, anywhere, and unfortunately this can't be said about beyer.
a great performance by big Bob battering Timo Hoffman too.......good luck to mundine vs kessler.....and good seeing that all the Aussie boxers seem willing to go anywhere to fight anyone......i.e green, mundine, tszyu, briggs, darchinyan, hamdan, hussein, etc....you aussies are great.

All about styles. Markus always had the style to beat Green. Beyer got caught by surprised the first fight and deserved to lose but got help from crooked German officiating. No excuses this time. Green had the opportunity to finish Beyer off and blew it. Like it or not, Beyer was just the better fighter this time.
beyer fought a smart fight.counter punched well and landed
some nice body shots.danny was dissapointing.just didnt fight
with the agression we know he fights with.credit to beyer he
fought a very smart fight and deserved the decision.i being an aussie thought the judges we a bit kind to danny i had him winning 4 rounds out of twelve...

I have seen all of Beyer´s fights and about 5-6 fights of Green, so I knew that Beyer had the potential to beat Green (he is just the better boxer), but I was surprised that he overcame his mental problems he had since being KO´ed against Catley in 2000.
Yesterday he fought a very good fight and deserved the decision. Green picked the wrong tactics, which made it even easier for Beyer. Everybody knows that Beyer is best at countering his opponents and quite poor in making the fight himself. So it wasn´t a good idea to come straight forward at Beyer the whole night  . Against Lucas Green fought much smarter.
I don`t think Green deserves a rematch. He did floor and look like stopping Beyer in the first fight and as contenious as it was Green lost that fight. He gets a mandated rematch and loses honestly on the scorecards. Whyshould he get a rematch, because he did well in the first fight?
I think one man who should get a shot at Beyer is non other than Otis Grant ho won last night in Canada. Otis has won all his fights since coming back and is good enough to outbox anyone ( except Roy Jones :) ).
believe it or not guys, i had my money on beyer............green demolished him in the last fight,,,,and i knew that the rematch wouldn't be the same..............plus i know danny wouldn't be able to control his emotions in such an anticipated bout.
the pts decision was pretty much fair......but viewers shall no that beyer ran a lot and didn't get many shots in.....danny just didn't do enough until the last round.

OMG i can't believe it wtf.
was the fight close?
who thought beyer won , and who thought green won?
Everyone who saw the fight thought that Beyer won. I've heard anywhere from 116-111 to 115-112 to 114-113. Beyer was just simply the better fight tonight.
someone done a round by round on another site and he seemed to think beyer won it by 2 or 3 but the judges had it quite close not sure what the exact scores were but beyer got floored in the last and was just holding on apparently.
i don't think anyone took Beyer to win tonight i thought it was a bit of an upset in my book but theres nothing you can do about it.
Yeah I was expecting Green to KO him early as was Deuskie's friend.
So much for fighters coming to Germany and not being able to get decisions. The judges had it a lot closer than the fight actually was. Official scores were 114-114, 114-113, 115-112. That's just rediculous.
what happened?
i thought green was a great deal better than beyer
beyer must've had a great fight cause i thought he fell off a lot since getting that shit decision over lucas
