Yeah that was a great fight, i think that made the 44.95 worth it right there, good night for boxing, i only seen Jorge "el Travieso" Arce before on spanish sport show, but never seen him fight, hope he keeps providing us with great fights.

Arce-Hussein was one badass fight! I can't remember the last time I was so hyped up during a fight. (maybe Barrera-Morales :rolleyes: ) ahhh good times

It was an awesome fight. Hussein let himself down by getting into a war with Acre but he won himself a lot of fans and should get another pay day in the U.S for his preformance. FOTY so far!!!

Say Zab and Ouma were scheduled on the same night. I'm going to be looking so forward to the Zab fight that I won't even be able to enjoy the Ouma fight anywhere near as much because of my anticipation of a more favorite fighter. MD i ain't tryin to start shit but i mean for real dude, there is medication for that type of behavior. personally i like getting my monies worth. the more good fights i get to see when i shell out $45 bucks the better. and as far as arce and hussein hussein go...i have seen them both fight before saturday and knew that that fight was going to be good. now i am not saying that you are not a true boxing fan at all. what i am saying is that perhaps you should seek medical help for your condition. my sister used to be the same way. but after seeking help she can now handle lifes little treasures in abundance instead of one day at a time. anyhow, every fight has its own importance. i tend to love to watch the up and comers. maybe thats why i have seen both arce and hussein hussein fight.

I'm happy because I got three exciting fights on one card, the first one was kind of boring. yeah, but that one guy, cant remember name(the guy that won) had the coolest shoe's ive ever seen. they were red and white, the shoes alone were worth that fight :D

That Arce fight was crazy! I had seen him fight once, a loooong time ago, and I'd heard of Hussein, so I figured it to be a good fight. I never expected what I got. That fight, alone, was worth the 44.95 plus tax. I'm happy because I got three exciting fights on one card, the first one was kind of boring.

Actually no, I cared more about a match that fucking actually mattered. Arce-Hussein, sure maybe it was a war or whatever but I have two of my favorite fighters in the main event so I really didn't give a fuck at the time. It's like anytime Zab Judah fights, I just can't care as much about the other fights on the night of the live Judah fight. That's why it pisses me off when there are more than 2 good fights on in any night when I'm watching. There are over 100 fights every year that I would be very interested in seeing. That is 2 fights a week, every Saturday, which backs up my reason for why there is no excuse to not having boxing every single weekend. There are probably at least 10 weeks out of the year (probably more than that but yeah) in which they show no meaningful fights. That just annoys the hell out of me. Especially when there are fights happening that they simply don't show us. Take, for example, the Tua return. Now yeah I don't care that much about Tua but I'd like to see his matches when they show them. Then there are other matches all the time. Tapia has been in off TV bouts a lot. The 2000 olympians, they go promoting them, then don't show every single fight they have. Why the hell not? It is ridiculous. Now the Arce-Hussein fight...they hardly ever show Arce fight. I don't remember them ever showing Hussein. So I know nothing about either guy. So why would I be compelled to watch? There is this "wannabe boxing fan" syndrome that people fall into where they think they have to watch every single fight shown. There are A LOT of just horrible fights between nobodies on ESPN2 and CSS and all these other channels that we can definitely afford to miss. I'm not saying Arce falls into that shitty fighter category, but to say I'm being like a casual boxing fan because I don't get a hard on for these fighters that they've hardly ever shown is silly. They've shown Arce what maybe 2 times in the last 3 years? Also I don't even have cable. I only have one real world friend who likes boxing. So I have to make a special trip to his house, which is a drive across town. Sometimes after school and work I don't feel like taking that drive to watch crap fights. If the fighters are any good, that friend'll record them anyhow. You are the worst boxing fan in the world. You get pissed off when a promoter schedules more than one important, potentially exciting fight on one card? Who raised you?

I never heard of these guys but after that fight Ima definately be on the look out for future fights especially from Arce. Dudes nose was squirting out blood and he still attacked like it didnt bother him.

During the first round, I was thinking to myself, "There's no way this guy can beat Wongjonkam." But after seeing the way he kept boring forward, throwing punches, I'm not so sure any more. I haven't seen the fight but sounds like it was ferocious. Was it that Hussein that gave Manny a tough time a while back w/ the biased ref giving Pac a long count or his brother Nedal who recently lost?

I've never seen a crowd so happy when that fight was over though. They were WAAAAAY too happy. Could it be because of the anticipation that the final match was finally here? I thought that was hilarious. I just couldn't get into that fight at all. I was looking way too forward to the main event to care about guys that I hardly know and who are hardly given any exposure. That was a VERY brutal fight. Both showed tremendous heart. The cut on Arce's nose was hella nasty. Wonder what wouldve happened had Arce been in Hussein's weight class instead of fighting as a junior lightweight. :eek: :rolleyes:

I was watching the fight on a South African sattelite video feed that cut off at the end of the fight. Before it did the announcers mentioned something about Hussein having a broken jaw, does anyone know if this is true?
