Keith Kizer, head of the Nevada State Athletic Commission at the time of Margarito-Cotto 1 went on record stating there was no issue with Margarito's handwraps. He pointed out that at the NSAC provided the gauze used by both fighters to wrap their respective hands. Link below.

Meh. WBC did the same nonsense when Alycia Baumgardner tested positive for a banned substance prior to fighting Christina Linardatou.
Oddly enough, there was no fake outrage from these so-called 'journalists'.
I think he acts like a douchebag but I'll admit, I believe he could very well ko Golovkin if the fight went that way. I see a decision more likely as GG fights conservatively against strong punchers. But, if it got heated, Charlo has much better head movement and I could see him catching Golovkin.
I think people are offended at the idea of a newer guy with a brash attitude beating their beloved champ but people who know boxing can see Charlo's talents are real and he's the guy to beat GG right now. I don't think GG is going to get near him. Ironically, GG will be his Sergio Martinez.
He plays the villain role well.
Can someone explain how a team who claims to want a fight will go out of their way to avoid a meeting
Avoid a contract to agree details
Ignore the meeting even when someone has come to meet them in their own backyard
Explain to me please how that team is not avoiding the fight and simply talking crap to fool the public
Hell if the amount of effort was put Into sitting down and talking to make the fight that a team has made to avoid the meeting, it would be made by now
Someone just explain the above to me
How can a fight be made of one team is refusing to talk or sign a deal? I am trying to understand the logic behind this
How can a fight be made without meeting or talking ? Without paperwork ? Without negotiations ? What is this sht American fans are trying to defend ?
What’s happened to American boxing ? When did they become this god damn dunce?
When that happens call for a purse bid. That's how Danny Jacobs came around after demanding more money to fight GGG.
I always thought Hall of Fame was based mainly on how famous a fighter is and not on their resume. Therefore, people like Gatti and Hamed, would naturally be in.
Despite the loss to Barrera, Hamed's is far more deserving of hof inclusion than Gatti. 15 title defenses of his WBO belt. Beat his fellow alphabelt champions and held the lineal title for 3 years.
I don't hold the Barrera loss against Hamed. There's no shame in losing to a ring legend like Barrera.
I’m no hater but if you think Van isn’t a reason people will by tickets then you have no idea how large the Armenian community is in LA.
I went to a grappling tournament in LA and it was almost all Armenians.
My Armenian homie said there’s there is as many Armenians in LA as there are Samoans in Utah
Armenians like grappling.
I live in L.A. and have been lucky enough to go to every GGG fight here in L.A.
L.A. is Golovkin Country. As a matter of fact, I expect more Mexicans to buy tickets to this fight then there are Armenians in Glendale.
Vanes isn't moving any tickets. He never has. That's simply delusional.
What a great fight! The animosity due to the prefight brawl made this great too!! & the 6th rd was an epic round, (starts at 22mins and 30secs)!!! McKinney had a helluva right cross, problem was he tried to exchange it with Barreras. Great technical brawl if you haven't seen it. Barreras slip counters are textbook.
I still have my ticket stub from that night at the Forum! $40 got you floor seats!
I'm contemplating heavy on purchasing the dazn 1 year 99.99$ subscription but my concern is that they don't have enough good fighters to warrant the sub. Also I've heard many complaints that the app is buggy, it crashes a lot, the streaming quality isn't as efficient as a netflix, hulu, prime, etc.
I get that it streams live events, but I have the fubotv app I stream live tv daily with ZERO problems. That is no excuse.
Anybody got the app in 2021? Yay or nay? Sell it to me
I've on my second year with DAZN strictly for boxing. I already recovered my $100 with Joshua-Pulev and Alvarez-Smith.
0 regrets.
BREAKING: Deontay WiIder is under investigation by The NSAC after a video leaked showing the American tampering with his gloves, prior to his ring walk against Tyson Fury. Images show WiIder continually hitting a wall with both gloves for several minutes, weakening his padding.
Some of your sources for news articles in boxing are comparable to deez luscious nuts!
If we be honest... Most of these fighters 99% will fight anyone. These guys are too prideful to back down from a fight no matter how dangerous.
Look at all the examples of fighters ready to fight but there promoter comes along and stall the fight or never make it at all.
Perfect example: I know for a fact Canelo would have fought GGG as soon as he got the 160lb strap. I know for a fact he was angry at the public reaction he was getting at the time while Oscar prolonged the fight.
Of course fighters have a say so to a certain extent but we know a promoter especially these big time guys like Arum, Oscar, Haymon will find a way to get their fighter on board.
So should these guys take the blame for obvious moves made by their promoter?
Damn right. They're the ones the promoter works for.
So basically if no one is buying PPV’s then Pacquiao is out of luck while no attendance is there as well? Where will PAC’s guarantee come from?
In no particular order:
-Site Fees
-Merchandising
-International Broadcasting Rights
Top Rank has the broadcasting rights to all of Warren's UK cards for ESPN.

crawfords highest attending hometown fight is around 13,000
Tank is 24 and already brought in higher numbers in his first hometown fight.
Top prank is a joke. :lol1:
Davis drew 1,000 more in Baltimore
than what Crawford draws REGULARLY in Lincoln, Nebraska -a city with one third the population of Baltimore.
Say what you will about the hometown crowds at a Crawford fight, the 13,000 he drew for the Indongo fight set the record for the largest boxing crowd in the state of Nebraska.
This was Davis' first fight at home. Whether he can continue to pull in these kinds of crowds fighting in Baltimore remains to be seen.
Remember, only 2 fights ago, Tank was relegated to fighting on the Adrien Broner-Jessie Vargas undercard.
Needless to say the JOKE was on Tank that night. Who wants to be relegated to playing second fiddle to an ass clown like Broner?
SMH...
Outside of Floyd Mayweather and outside of boxers built up by Golden Boy Promotions?
Top Rank promoted Floyd's first 35 fights and was a 4 division champion when they paarted ways. PBC sure as hell didn't "create" Floyd.
Floyd gives a lot of credit to Al Haymon for guiding his career which is why I threw that in.
I understand that. He's also given Arum his due.
Nothing against Haymon, it's simply that working with an already established star is not the same as creating one.
Everywhere I turn I see one of the Garcia family members , Angel or Danny , going off about Bradley’s rant at the the end of Top Ranks last broadcast
It’s kind of like they took it personally when it was actually a dig at the whole PBC stable
Hey , if it can get Bud Crawford a fight against one of the PBC boys , I gotta admit I’m all for it
Still why did the Garcia team take it so personal ?
It was hilarious to hear Garcia accuse Bradley of never fighting outside of Top Rank's stable, which is preposterous.
Bradley went through Thompson Boxing, Gary Shaw, and picked up 2 140 lbs. titles all before signing with Top Rank.
Here's the irony...
One look at Danny record shows he has always fought in house opposition when he was with Golden Boy as well as Haymon.
The pot is here to call the kettle black...
