After 4 years and 353 posts in this thread, the only stars that PBC has created that don’t have ties to Golden Boy are: Tank Davis David Benavidez (depending on whether or not you think he qualifies as a star) And both have a lot of bum/fraudishness to their careers. Probably unfair to say that of Benevidez but he's with PBC so fair game.

What do you mean by “created stars”? Promoters don’t create stars, stars create themselves. Promoters create opponents for stars to beat. Floyd, Ali, Leonard, odh, canelo, weren’t created by any promoter. They either came from the Olympic with a huge following or created fan interest by their outside the ring “antics” or both. wait Larryx died ?!

Yea the ironic part of this whole thread is TR can't even get the big success off of these star guys. As best as I can tell TR hasn't sold 200k or more PPV's in a non-joint PPV in almost 7yrs, since Manny left. Meanwhile PBC, GBP, Matchroom, hell even Triller have attained those numbers in non-joint PPV's & there have been at least 7 instances of PPV's doing 1M or more by those groups. What good is the ability to "build a star", which I still believe is a bs concept cuz stars build themselves promoters just don't fook it up, if you can't even capitalize on it with huge fights fans wanna see? What 7 instances are those by pbc, matchroom, and gbp? cause I damn sure don't remember gbp or matchroom doing 1 million ppv buys in america at any point in these last 7 years that you speak of

As far as I know, TS is a huge Mayweather fan and is black. Probably is. But typically a lot of criticism of PBC comes from a stormfont type place. That said, they certainly aren't perfect and they're many things you can criticize them on. But they are the best promotional company in boxing rn, for what that's worth.
