I'll start it off...Gatti
So far
Gatti
Vitali
Lopez
Hamed
Yeah, for both of those guys, that's the dilemna that they made their own division contenders looks like complete bums for years so we think they fought nobody.
Wilder is in the same position.
Gatti on the other hand never was an elite fighter IMO.
If Gatti is there, then Judah deserves it too.
I always thought Hall of Fame was based mainly on how famous a fighter is and not on their resume. Therefore, people like Gatti and Hamed, would naturally be in.
Despite the loss to Barrera, Hamed's is far more deserving of hof inclusion than Gatti. 15 title defenses of his WBO belt. Beat his fellow alphabelt champions and held the lineal title for 3 years.
I don't hold the Barrera loss against Hamed. There's no shame in losing to a ring legend like Barrera.
IBHOF is a joke, probably more than 50% of fighters there never beat another HOF'er.
Barry McGuigan, did he ever beat a HOF'er?
I thought McGuigan too, but he beat Pedroza
I know the Hall of Fame is not as hard to get into as many think it is. Mancini didn't look that good to me and he is in the Hall. They probably put Gatti in for all the exciting fights he was in but his ability was not that good.
Sugar Ramos counts I think. He fought Carlos Ortiz twice, and Saldivar once, but lost on all three occasions.
And here is a song about his fatal fight with Davey Moore, if anybody's interested - not the only time an opponent died at his hands
Yeah, this what I always say. The title itself indicates fame and nothing else. Sure. Most guys on the list had great careers and were very talented, but some guys didn't have the greatest talent but gave the fans everything in the ring or were flashy and charismatic, etc. This is why Broner will get in.
I agree totally. The title says it all.

interesting....let me check..added!!!!!!!!
you are going to have a lot of names on that list...also the pure stats don't really tell you much. for example kostya tszyu beat an over the hill chavez so hes not on the list. norris beat an over the hill leonard etc...unfortunately to accurately rank fighters you are going to have to use a bit of brain power to determine which fighters were actually good and which were just shells with a name. some guys who don't have a hall of famer are probably better than some who do. i know its crazy!
there are probably a bunch just go to this site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Boxing_Hall_of_Fame and cross check all the names and resumes. marc johnson, virgil hill, hamed possibly come to mind but i dont really want to check since i dont really care lol
