GGG vs Martirosyan: Biggest gate and potentially fastest sellout in Stubhub history

I’m no hater but if you think Van isn’t a reason people will by tickets then you have no idea how large the Armenian community is in LA. I went to a grappling tournament in LA and it was almost all Armenians. My Armenian homie said there’s there is as many Armenians in LA as there are Samoans in Utah Armenians like grappling. I live in L.A. and have been lucky enough to go to every GGG fight here in L.A. L.A. is Golovkin Country. As a matter of fact, I expect more Mexicans to buy tickets to this fight then there are Armenians in Glendale. Vanes isn't moving any tickets. He never has. That's simply delusional.

GGG selling out another venue and breaking another record vs a guy like Martirosyan. How many American fighters can sell out venues like the Stubhub, the Forum, the MGM, the T-Mobile nowadays btw? You remember when Lara fought Martirosyan at that Race Track? Wynn Resort its called.. and they had to give tickets away for free. Yeah Vanes is such a draw. Also Dominic Wade was the draw when GGG sold out MSG. Man these NSB trolls are so hilarious.

I suggest there will be more Nicaraguan fans than Armenians. This will be a 95% GGG crowd maybe more. Golovkin is a draw in LA. The only reason this hasn't sold out completely already is because it really isn't that cheap of a fight given the opponent. Bleachers went quick but anywhere with a seat is costing at minimum $220 for one ticket. That isn't counting parking (which is expense at Stubhub), food and drinks. You are talking about $325 for everything. That's steep for me, make very good money and I am a GGG fan, given the opponent. Ryan Garcia is fighting May 4th at Stub Hub as well. That may have taken a few sales.

This exactly, probably another reason they picked van after they switched to LA, so they could actually sell some tickets because of the large Armenian community living there. That’s the only reason for the tickets selling so well, not because g is some huge draw Hes a draw in LA. Stub Hub was full. Forum was full. Hes not a mega star like Oscar, Manny and Floyd, but he packs the house in LA.
