I hear people say he renewed his Top Rank contract last year to avoid Spence and others? If he has been making good money at Top Rank why would he need to leave Top Rank? I don’t recall Crawford saying he wanted to be undisputed as once Keith said and now Spence.
Does anybody know if Crawford said he wanted to be the Undisputed Welterweight of the world?
Is Crawford not allowed to stay loyal to Arum as Wilder is to Showtime? Wilder and his handlers said loyalty was special.
There's only one explanation. He doesn't want to fight the best competition out there. If he does then he will leave Top Rank and go to the PBC since they hold all the cards.
If he becomes the World's undisputed welterweight champion, then it would be a very distinguished achievement for him; Even more than his undisputed Junior welterweight championship that he won.
The PBC is loaded with talent at 147 like: Shawn Porter, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Yordenis Ugás, Manny Pacquiao, Adrien Broner, Josesito Lopez, Victor Ortiz, Andre Berto, Sergey Lipinets, Ivan Redkach, Jesús Soto Karass, Devon Alexander and a host of many others he could fight at welterweight.
- -Half those names ain't as good as the the fighters Bud already beat and none of the others ain't making the HOF save Manny, so why bother?
Pbc boys barely fight each other. Theyre just trophies for their sugar daddy.
Telling a fighter to sign with someone he doesn't want to sign with is ridiculous. Crawford absolutely doesn’t have to sign with Haymon or anyone else. Top Rank has been treating him well and more power to him for re-signing with them.
Dude made 5-6M against Khan and will make at least 3M against Mean Machine. You really think he is worried?

- -How many x were you handled today?
Nothing wrong with it...FOR NOW!
But Like Oscar, Mayweather, Cotto, Pacquiao it is only a matter of time before he leave Top Rank for GREENER PASTURES
His deal was great...INITIALLY! This was just before DAZN started spending all the money they're spending and this was when Pacquiao was STILL with Top Rank so he probably thought by staying he could ultimately get the Pacquiao fight. Then all of a sudden Pacquiao jumps to PBC leaving Crawford with absolutely NOTHING at 147 so it is not really Crawford fault. Now however, that deal is not looking so great and he is not getting any big fights so yeah ultimately he will have to do whatever it takes to make those fights even if it means joining PBC to do it
If I was Haymon...F#CK YOU I would not send Arum and Crawford anything that is not his concern or his job. However as a boxing fan which is what I am, I do think they should send over Danny Garcia, Lipinets or Ugas because what it does it helps make the potential match up of Spence Jr vs Crawford EVEN BIGGER!
This is not the Mega Fight that people pretend it is, not yet but it can be! What they cannot do is allow Spence Jr fight everybody (Porter, Danny Garcia, Pacquiao, Ugas) while Crawford is over on ESPN fighting Egidijus Kvalaghjklgjk(whatever) aka Mean Machine and Alexander Besputin and expect it to be a big fight when they fight
Yeah, yet the PBC fanboys want Jermall Charlo, who hasn't fought any of the top 10 guys in his division, to stick with his uncle Al fighting tomato cans.
Is Thurman, Pac or Porter more difficult than Crawford? Why did Spence say he wouldn’t cross?Man, please quote me in my proper text because I don't have the slightest clue of what you are even talking about?

Nothing. Crawford should do what satisfies him and his family. However, you take the good with the bad. Any negatives that come out of his decision is not something I can pity.
Bingo. I can never fault a man for getting his money, but it's never been a surprise that he won't get PBC fighters.
It proves he's content with fighting scrubs. Crawfish never pushed Bob to make the Pacquiao fight when Pac was stilled signed with Top Rank because he doesn't have the desire to be great. Crawfish looks at his mediocre resume and he's fine with that. And the worst part about the entire situation is Bob isn't even doing a good job promoting Crawford's career, yet Crawford stays loyal to Top Rank. He's Bob's bastard son while Loma is Top Rank's pride and joy. It's an honestly an embarrassment how Top Rank barely promotes someone as talented as Crawford

It's understandable, but he's exclusively tied to ESPN network. No PBC fighter fights on that network.
Why sit there and sign with Top Rank and ESPN just to cry about not getting the fights you want? He could've avoided being in the situation he's in right now. It's not like he can just move up to 154 either, as he was fighting at lightweight just a few years ago and Top Rank's stable is also horrible at 154.
Funny how Spence who was complaining about no welterweights wanting to fight him was being crucified for it being that all the top 147 was in his own stable and they simply refused to fight him. He was told to stop crying and move up.
Now when Crawford cries about it, everyone sides with him and calls all other 147lber's ducks for refusing to betray their people to go fight Crawford on ESPN.
Ridiculous.
he's done nothing wrong . gets paid well by top rank. it's just frustrating for fans because we want to see the best fight the best and that won't happen because they are on different networks.
Will be interesting to see who they line up for him to fight. Ramirez will move up and fight him at some stage
